Welcome to the Antarctica General, where we discuss what our politicians have been doing behind our backs on this so-called barren wasteland of a continent the size of the continental United States since the 1940s.
Quick preface: We are aware that pizzagate is an important ongoing discussion here, and we are not trying to disrupt that investigation with our own discussion about the nature of our most southern continent. That is why I believe a general would be appropriate as a common thread for us to congregate away from other investigators.
First order of business: Speculate on what is under all that ice.
I believe it is Atlantis. We have spent 1000s of years trying to discover the "lost continent" without realizing it has been right there before our eyes all along. Some sort of natural disaster resulted in a large movement of our continents, one of which pushed Atlantis too far south for it to remain habitable for humans. It was pushed so far away that the humans on the other continents believed it disappeared and concluded it must have sunk into the ocean.
The evidence for this being the case is significant, and we will attempt to congregate as much of it here as we can in order to present a coherent history of our most mysterious and ill-understood continent.
This is supposedly Nazi Navy map + instructions for a submarine commander to enter a hidden tunnel under the continent's ice. I will post some zoom ups of each figure along with an English translation below.

You can find this clearly man-made tunnel opening on Google Earth if you wish. It is quite deep into New Swabia territory and is 100s of meters tall and wide. Looks to be the entrance to some sort of human base or dwelling.
If there were naturally made, it would have been covered with ice and snow 1000s of years ago. That you can clearly see it on Google Earth today means that it was either dug out or excavated in recent history.

If you look at Antarctica on Google Earth, you will see areas of the continent strangely "whited out" with perfect geometrical rectangles with 90 degree angles. I have never seen the sun make a snow/ice reflection that is a perfect rectangle, have you?
Additionally, in the top left of this picture we can see that there is a large city-sized harbor and town that whoever built it does not want anyone to know exists. You can see this sort of blurring out of manmade structures on Antarctica almost everywhere on Google Earth.
Before you claim that it looks like this because it is a barren continent and there is no way to get a camera there, look at the Sahara Desert. You can zoom all the way up to any of the most desolate parts of it and clearly see a well-rendered picture of the terrain. Antarctica is strangely dotted like a dalmation with such white rectangles.

It's because Google maps is made by a bunch of different pictures and slapped together, the rectangles are the lines where the satellite pictures end and begin.

There is so much more to the story. Look up the relatively recent lighting explosion in Mecca while they were doing construction. They dug up some sort of religious artifact from the ground and shortly after a humongous bolt of lighting hit a construction crane, which fell and crashed, killing hundreds of people. All covered up of course.
The Saudis were terrified by this and phoned both the Vatican and the Russian Orthodox church for help. The Russian Orthodox archbishop or whatever came down and agreed that they had found something holy and they should get it away from innocent people before something else happens. Russian pope personally phones Putin and asks him for assistance in this matter. Putin agrees to escort the relic to Antarctica for safekeeping and sends an entire fleet of Russian battleships to escort it in case anyone tried to intercept them and steal it on the way. No one has seen the fleet since.
Shortly after this, the pope visits Antarctica to see what is happening for himself. When he returns, he decides to meet with the Russian pope to discuss what they have seen. This is the first time the Pope and Orthodox Archbishop have met with each other in more than 1,000 years, so obviously the decision to break such a historical tradition was not taken lightly.
Fast forward to the Trump election, and apparently strange things keep happening in Antarctica ever since they brought the relic there. John Kerry is called upon to immediately go personally investigate the day after election day, a day in which the Secretary of State probably should have been around to offer his input and guidance in the most important day of American politics.
Kerry shortly after leaves and goes to New Zealand. Upon arriving, a massive earthquake hits the country. Kerry flees back to the US to get away from whatever caused it, and the Prime Minister of New Zealand shortly after resigns suddenly and disappears entirely from politics, evidently terrified.

We have also speculated on it being the entrance to hollow earth. However, that being true requires a massive conspiracy on such a massive scale that it would mean NASA is literally a hollywood studio and no one has ever left planet Earth. Is that the case? I don't know and frankly don't plan on figuring it out in /antarctica/ because that would be deviating from the thread's main topic.
There are theories on how such a thing could have occurred. Even Albert Einstein agreed that the idea that ice caps could have shifted Antarctica very far to the south is both credible and plausible. He even wrote the foreword for the book on this topic. Another user in the previous thread had posted the book's cover, but its name escapes me right now.
