not much is left of isis but the question is what after that? rebels are the obvious answer but what about the kurds? i don't see this war ending anytime soon

Just collecting the locations of military-looking stuff and handing these over to our friend is fine too, so if someone manages to get a nice view of a bunker/training camp just write down the coordinations and post it with the pic attached.

Quoting from last thread >The free standing trees in 2:06 are leaning to the right. Free standing trees usually lean a bit towards the south-east. The trees at 00:56 lean towards the shadows of the house, so the sun should be in the south-east. They aren't standing that free though, so idk. >Also it would make sense that way. The shadows during the shooting are shorter than those during the running and the morning speech part and I'd assume that you shoot after getting instructions and a "warm up" It's like that in syria as well. >meteoblue.com/en/weather/forecast/modelclimate/syria_egypt_412814
Also this looks like a satellite dish, depending on where they point in syria, we should be able to determine 100% whether the sun is going up or down in the video, so we're able to make a more accurate draft of the building

HERE IS THE NEWS ================
>VIDEO: Islamic State sets alight gas field near Palmyra
With ISIS struggling to hold ground across Syria and Iraq, the hardline Sunni group has now turned to other means to halt advances by hostile factions.
Last week, the Syrian Army liberated the Hayyan gas field west of Palmyra. However, the facility was left largely useless after ISIS militants torched it before abandoning the site.

— Chris Tomson (@TheDaneChris) February 22, 2017
After losing control over most of the country’s oil and gas fields, the Syrian Government is struggling to supply its population with much needed energy resources. Nevertheless, Syrian engineers are working overtime to restore the Hayyan gas field to full functionality.
>Russia: Astana platform helpful for settling Syrian crisis
Russian Presidential aide, Yuri Ushakov, claimed to reporters that the Astana peace talks are an effective method of settling the Syrian war.
“The Astana meetings on Syria (held on January 23-24 and February 15-16) have proved to be one of the most significant results of Russian-Kazakh cooperation on international level,” he said.
“The main outcome of the Astana meetings was the trilateral mechanism (involving Russia, Iran and Turkey) set up for monitoring the Syrian ceasefire,” Ushankov added.
“The unique potential of the Astana platform will be used in the future in order to facilitate a peaceful solution to the Syrian crisis,” the Russian presidential aide stressed.
On Wednesday morning, the Syrian Arab Army’s (SAA) Republican Guard carried out a surprise offensive southwest of Aleppo city that saw government forces seize control of the seemingly impregnable Aqrab (Souq al-Jabs) area.
This advance widens the buffer-zone around Aleppo city and puts the SAA within striking distance of the Rashideen district that still remains under insurgent control. Government troops have also seized the Al-Soura Checkpoint west of the Dahiyat Al-Assad suburb after establishing fire control over the adjacent Al-Raqqa bridge on Monday. Advertisement
This renewed western Aleppo offensive is only possible after tens of thousands of government troops were freed up following the liberation of Aleppo city in December, 2016.
An updated Al-Masdar News map of the advances is available below:
>US Commander: More troops may be sent to Syria to combat ISIS
The top US commander for the Middle East, General Joseph L. Votel, has said that more US troops might be needed to fight ISIS in Syria and push towards Raqqa.
“I am very concerned about maintaining momentum,” the head of the United States Central Command, told reporters, as quoted by CBS News.
local forces being supported by the US “don’t have as good mobility, they don’t have as much firepower, so we have to be prepared to fill in some of those gaps for them,” noting that such support may involve additional fire support capability and “a variety of other things” to help “offset some of the gaps.”
“It could be that we take on a larger burden ourselves,” “That’s an option.”
US did not want to takeover the fighting from anti-ISIS forces.

Jaxon Lopez
I doubt the Turks are doing any major fighting at all. If you ask me, they want to get rid of as many FSA retards as possible, while losing as little Turks as possible. What will Turkey do, once Assad wants that land back? Try to annex it, breaking international law, or just giving in? And when that happens, will the FSA just lay down arms? Or will they fight against Assad first and against the nation that backstabbed them later, when they lost the battle? Eventually Turkey will want to get rid of its usefull idiots and now is a good time. They achieved most of their goals and don't really need them anymore. If they can get rid of them, while using their deaths for their own propaganda, while saving turkish lives, it's a win-win-win situation. There's no need for them to sacrifice turkish blood in al bab, especially not to save these baboons

some of the sites I saw last night were pretty good matches.
there was one where the house was north south and there was a training ground area close by.
I dont think the training ground is more than 2km aways from the house.
imagine running this cap yourself. you want to keep it secret. to do this you need to contain an area and conduct training in this area. otherwise word would spread. or a plane flying over head would see.
Can we have all the coords for all the sites we think may be options, and a pic for each?
then we can group assess.

the real conspiracy theory is that they only "pretend" or "stage" the videos because they want to make certain people or agencies believe that the people in the vids are dead whereas in fact the people are alive and used for whatever purpose with their new identity

Why isis don't kill women in their HD fancy videos? We know that they execute women off camera sometimes but never edgy executions with women in their shitty propaganda, not even Kurd women prisoners.

According to Militarymaps this area is hold by the SAA. Anyways it's probably way too close to the frontlines to train there.
Thomas Richardson
SAA and russian marine around eastern Homs.
David Johnson
Why would they execute women?
They would just take them as sex slaves and impregnate them
ISIS executions are done to instill fear and rally supporters
Executing women instills fear
But making turning them into concubines and forcing them to breed jihadis is even more morally crushing, for their enemies

They actually execute women when they refuse to become sex slaves. They burned a few in Mosul as well. But not stupid edgy videos about this, I don't know why... they even film when they execute male witches.
As far as i know it is pretty much a story of russian intervention. Starting with Latakia - ending with Palmyra. Havent tried it myself yet tho.
Oliver Torres
I was thinking about that one as well and am checking some things rn. It looks promising. The last few seconds of the video show them jogging around some fields and there's a house at a Y-crossing. The problem I'm having rn is whether the sun is still the morningsun there, so I can check whether the wall is in the right cardinal direction.

Huh?? How does that even happen? You dont get to accept to be a sex slave or not
>burned a few in Mosul
I'd like to see a good source for this. Punishments by fire are actually haram in islam, but ISIS justifies it by the verse going along the lines "eye for an eye tooth for a tooth" and "punish them as they punish you".
In the case of the jordanian pilot that's how they justified it. The bombings caused fires in Raqqa or whatever and people burned so they burned him alive as well.
Xavier Roberts
>libyan "human rights" activists agree with Haftars women travel ban because "they saw women buying alchohol" is there an example of nato interventionism actually helping anyone?

With time I could do it. I'm an arma3 editor autist. But It would take me months of actual work and I'm a wagecuck...(I had a mission about the loss of Palmyra, but i used too many mods and it was too unstable for everybody )
Brandon Nelson
The Bunker at 2:34 seems to be very far to the side of the hill. If it's still the morning sun, it should be on the far north-west side of the hill. However if it's the evening sun, it's in the far south east.
