Goering was patrician as fuck.

Well, obviously Hitler. Goebbels was a great speaker too. I also admire Goering for his courage and intelligence.
During the trials at Nuremberg, the defendants were refused the right to actually defend themselves and "deny" the holocaust, only to argue their "involvement" of it. However, the evidence of the whole affair was such a crock of shit that Goering very nearly blew the entire sham out of the water then and there during his hearing. While in the yard with the other defendants, he overheard a group of people talking about Hungarian jews and made a joke "Hungarian jews? I thought we killed them all!". This joke was taken as a confession or a slip-up, and was literally what they used to sentence him to death.
Also, while sitting with some of the prosecutors in private, one of the British assholes and a jewy American there began mocking Hitler right in front of him. He responded with such a combination of solemnity, authority and rage that he made the british guy look down in shame, and the jew flinch. Imagine that: a man brought before his enemies in chains, to be mocked and shamed then executed. Instead, he turns the tables on THEM, and makes them feel fear and guilt. Such titans are rare.
>Aged just 16, the apparently unremarkable son of a factory worker was overcome by desire for the stepmother of one of his schoolfriends. "Eros awoke," he wrote in 1912. "Sentimental period. Bombastic letters, poems. Besides which, love for mature women."
>That passion was unrequited. But two years later, as legions of German marched to war for the Kaiser and he grew embittered that his handicap meant he would never be able to join them, a girl called Lena Krage helped ease his torment. "The first kiss on Garden Street!" he wrote. "At night in the Kaiser Park - I kissed her breast. She experienced for the first time what it was like to be a loving woman."
Justin Ortiz
Did you love the part where the Americans stripped him of his medals and his military baton?
He is a dog and a disgrace to the German people.
Aaron Bennett
>He believed in National Socialism
but he renounced Hitler at Nuremberg and wrote his memoirs to absolve himself of guilt. Are you saying he lied in order to save his own life?

>BTFO by some Czech vodka drinker wew lad also that nose

Goring had genius iq when they tested him at Nuremberg.
My fav is Gobbels though. Guy was smart as hell.
Jack Rogers
This.
True idealist and dreamer. Recreated a pagan order with success.
He dreamed of an agricultural world where most people were self sufficient, living off the land, and ready for war when the fatherland called.
Christopher Bailey
I'd like to think so. I genuinely think he believed in It.

Speer was a tremendous piece of shit, who betrayed all of his friends, writing phony stories about them while aggrandizing himself and telling bullshit stories about how he "saved all of Germany from evil Hitler" by not carrying out his final orders. He also spent all his days after the war kissing the feet of jews. It would have been better to die with dignity than live like the worm he did.
Leo Sanders
He died long before the nuremberg trials.
Isaiah Powell
He literally wept when Hitler died. HE believed in it 1000 percent. He just did what he had to to survive.
He belonged to the Nazi Party. He fought on their behalf

I always liked Goebbels. He was the hidden hand, and a ladies man to boot.
John Morgan
He failed to provide the supplies the 6th Army needed in stalingrad during the Kessel leading to the loss of countless men and the total defeat of the German forces in the eastern front.

I used to like Gobbels, but I got kind of repulsed by him after I found out that he married a single mom and mandated the killing of all his kids after the implosion of Germany.
Landon Moore
Speer? He spent 20 years in Spandau and then died 15 years after that. What are you talking about?
I'm glad that he stuck around long enough to write a couple of books, even though they are sterilized. His manuscripts were much longer than the final drafts. Who knows what was in those manuscripts that the publishers kept out
Elijah Brown
Göring was a brave man but he was useless in WW2. Galland was way better
Thomas Campbell
>the guy who fucked up the entire Battle of Britain and doomed the 6th army because he bullshitted about the Luftwaffe's aerial resupply capabilities Göring legitimately triggers me
although his military prowess is way over exaggerated, Rommel is an aesthetic god (no homo)
Oliver Morris
There was no hope of the Luftwaffe supplying the 6th Army. They didn't have enough aircraft to supply a corps, let alone an entire field army and under constant AA fire.

His wife mercy-killed them because they would have been tortured by communists like they were doing in Eastern country, and like communist partisans were doing in Italy.
The communists were raping little girls and torturing little boys. It was pure barbarism.

The thing is, he said to Hitler that the Luftwaffe could do it. He souldn't have said that if he knew it was impossible.

This. Or they would have taken them and indoctrinate them, making them tell insane stories of what thei dad did, or stuff they heard him say.
Parker Sanchez
Goebbels and his family were trapped in Berlin.
Himmler and Goering's children survived in West Germany, which wasn't as brutal as East Germany.
Some 80% (off the top of my head) of the German soldiers who were sent to the gulags, NEVER RETURNED. That's just a common soldier. What do you think they'd do to a high ranking German official's family? The Russian Cossacks who fought for Germany as foreign-SS regiments were gunned down by machine guns along with their entire families: wife and children.

Not that I know of, though there is a dramatization in the film Nuremberg.
Some written accounts try to subtly alter what he said and make him come off as timid or disloyal, which is pure bullshit, since every first-hand account describes him as having a "commanding aura", and was respected by both Germans and their enemies.
