The "muh Russians" fabrication goes back before Trump. Remember Obama set up the ACA deliberately to fail on Hillary's watch. Many of his shitty policies were done deliberately so Hillary was in a position with lots of leverage to force upon the US shit nobody wants.
They also wanted to start a new cold war, if not an open war. Though I'll admit I'm not fully understanding why the DNC and the Jews hate Russia so much. (Surely it can't just be for whipping feminists and pushing back against degeneracy, can it?) The Russian hacking was going to be used as an excuse for sanctions (which they still pushed through, but those are toothless and will be wiped away soon...) and to start conflict. They spent too much time and effort faking it all to just let it go to waste because they lost the election they were guaranteed to win... so they retooled it quickly to pin on Trump.
