bookmarked

It has a chan, and it has a Sup Forums

What coin does this use?

Guys, this is fucking incredible.
Blogging, social media, 0chan, manga reader...
Everything, non-central, and no censorship. This might become fucking huge.

No.

The solution is the Internet Freedom of Speech Act.

Wow just like lbry and IPFS, it won't gain traction
incredible

I wouldn't be surprised if at some point anything remotely right-leaning will eventually be forced to move to the darkweb

please go back to biz, i'm trying to take a break from crypto

Bump

kappa bump

Or it's another honeypot like every other that advertises anonymity or becomes one once the big brother realizes it doesn't have any control over it and starts ripping toenails off the developer. Is it OS?

Checked! I'm on board, steemit too. Ignore these big data cloud goys, spread the word!

Also if anyone doesn't understand cryptos and still believes in fiat, go back to plebbit, start lifting and stop watching msm.

does it have porn?

>/rus/ - Russian
lmao looks like meeting ground for CIA and FSB

Reminder that it's only druggies, terrorists and pedos who use networks like this.
Reminder that there's no real counterargument to "if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear" statement in regard to goverments.

t. fags who can't comprehend the technology backing it

Yes, trap porn, not much now, but I saw some feminine penis already, by accident of course!

It's open source

Could i use this on my phone aswell? I've been having to phone fag alot more lately

No, you still need an ISP in order to access it. If it ever becomes a serious threat, they'll gatekeep it.

Some jav shit

Except I'm heavily invested in multiple currencies that aren't shitcoin P&Ds. I hope you kill yourself when you lose all your investment.

As of 2016 there is no way to take down a ZeroNet page which still has seeders,[1] thus making such pages immune to third-party methods of taking them down, including DMCA takedown notices.[7] By default, sites have a size limit of 10 megabytes, but users may grant a site permission to use more storage space if they wish.

So... You could have your blog/twitter there, and no one could kill it?

Idiot, people are being censored right now on facebook, twitter, youtube, google and else. Who cares about WHEN IT BECOMES A THREAT, this is an option for media NOW.

being open source doesn't change anything, are you going to personally sit and review the source code? Who is?

What makes programmers so conservative?. They literal make software for freedom.

so you are actually retarded, good to know

I actually do but it doesn't mean governments can't track people who use these sort of utilities

That's something at least.

I will bump this for interest.

>conservative
>They literal make software for freedom.
If by freedom you mean: pedophilia, drugs, degeneracy etc then it's true.

It seems as they are still constructing basic websites to substitute (((youtube)))

I haven't found a video service yet

I guess its like pirate freedom. Do whatever you want.

For fucks sake. How hard is it to slip a chain around the Tucker and floor it at 4:00am? WhatsWhat's wrong with you people. If I lived in western Washington, I would do it myself.

way to guilt trip everyone who wants to talk about how sad they are anonymously asshole.

... What the fuck ...

I actually won't run a TOR node because of this. But if it was needed for more legitimate uses. I would run a tor node.

You think a meathead like me can deal with some nerd shit like this?

...

You literally just install it, and it's already running

I just DL the Android source, going to see how OS it is.

Saved, will check out when not on phone

Swissbro, how do I sort my IPFS thingy?

It doesn't boast anonymity. It is a P2P network which cannot be censored.

What's the point then?

Heard about IPFS, seems really cool.

They can't SHUT IT DOWN.
Also, Sup Forums don't support TOR or VPN, zerochan does.

The point is that there isn't a central server which can be taken down. It is censorship-resistant.

And you can be more user in too. Not for the gov, but from the antifaggots hackativists

There's a dozen like this right now. See
>SIAcoin
>Golem Network

Take an old computer, hook it up to internet, join distributive network.

Sia is a simple file hosting, and golem is distributed computing - neither of these are the same as zeronet.

Bump

Neat, I've been hoping something exactly like this would pop up. I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner, a merge of bittorrent and webhosting.

We learned this weekend that sometimes speech itself is something that we have to hide.

>Reminder that there's no real counterargument to "if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear" statement in regard to goverments
>Russian flag

What a surprise.

What do you all think of this?

How can the left even compete?

ZeroNet has some really good parts. It uses Namecoin which I love. Namecoin offers secure, decentralized registration of .bit domain names on the bitcoin network. One more piece to make us a little less dependent on ICANN and the internets powers that be. Instead of accessing ICANNs servers to do Domain name lookup, it works like a torrent and downloads the info from your peers.

In the future, I think another piece of that puzzle will be mesh networking. Your town signs a deal with an ISP to provide them a monopoly on the internet lines in exchange for money. This makes it very difficult for new ISPs to enter the market and increase competition. Mesh networking could solve that problem and allow for more and better ISPs to enter the market.

In a wireless mesh network, you could connect with everyone in your cities phones/wifi antennas in a chain so as long as one person has internet the whole city has internet. This would enable new ISPs to more easily provide internet because they wouldn't have to lay cabling along all telephone lines to every individual persons house.

>zeronet.io/
Hell. Yeah.

I've been thinking of getting a list of hardware together for some dirt cheap meshnet nodes people could stash at their place of work, friends houses, etc. and just leave them hidden and plugged in, along with some math to see how viable solar powered nodes would be (With an appropriate battery, of course).

If you have nothing to hide, I want to know who you are. Please hand over your passwords. You have nothing to hide, right?

We need something similar like this to counter Jewtube.

It's already here, check out the link I posted. Problem is there needs to be more users so this shit runs smoothly.
