The imprecise part clearly referred to the "good, average, bad etc" posts. Rating something from 1 to 10 is precise, the problem is that it's completely fucking random.
If you're going to bring mathematical ratings into it, then I can only assume that there's some kind of reason behind it that is more than "Let me roleplay as an internet critic!!!", otherwise you're a retard.
Again, the only distinction between, for example, the OP's classifications of "pretty good", "above average", "average" (let's stop there), and a rating system is that ratings are only implicit in his post. Everything he's done corresponds to a number and uses the same logic one would use in the application thereof.
"Pretty good"? In ratings parlance, about an 8. Maybe a 7.5-8. That is to say, "pretty good" can be alternately read as "7.5-8", which is only a margin of error of .5.
"Above average"? In ratings parlance, a 6-7. That is to say, "above average" can be alternately read as "6-7", which is only a margin of error of 1.
"Average"? About a 5. That is to say, "average" can be alternately read as "5", which is only a margin of error of 0.
It's important to help you understand that the logical system the brain would use to categorize and rate anime is the same in both cases, and the only difference is how they've been explicitly rendered. The rating system doesn't even imply greater precision per se because it is understood that it couldn't possibly be entirely precise, so a margin of error can be applied to the poster's claims.
The reality is that you're just ridiculously insecure about MYANIMELIST, the website, and your critique has nothing to do with any type of logic. You're just a dumb brat, plain and simple.
It's the utter cap in order for me to pay any attention to your post without further explanation.
That's weird; you (you)'d regardless. Maybe when not paying attention, you should try not posting?
