What's the appeal of anything ongoing? Why put yourself through the suffering of waiting every week?
What's the appeal of anything ongoing? Why put yourself through the suffering...
there are at least 5 shows airing that are better than katanapastrami
waiting 12 or more weeks to watch something that will most likely be shit anyways
Because there is plenty of shit that gets dropped and forgotten after one episode, like mayoiga
It's the difference between being an explorer and an archeologist.
Why put yourself through the suffering of waiting every week?
None of the shows I follow this season leaves me craving for the next.
I need something to look forward to
Why are you even watching anime?
You're totally entitled to your own opinion there, so out of interest: which ones?
Because aside from flying witch I'm wouldn't rate anything currently airing above Katanagatari
When you've run out of good anime to watch, you are left with the shit that is currently airing.
Admittedly, so much of that is shit that I generally drop all but one by episode 5. Occasionally I don't watch anything because it's all dogshit.
In those cases, it's back to books for entertainment.
I wait until towards the end of every season before watching any ongoing series, I really don't like waiting every week but I also don't want to be months late.
also hitei > togame
I'm not an impatient fag and I often only have time for one or two episodes anyway.
bla bla bla bla40min ep instead of 20:the show
there definitely aren't
I'm not a cynical snob on a high horse, so i'm quite enjoying watching a lot of shows this season. In fact, i'd go so far as to say that this season is pretty good. And it's not like i don't have standards, i'm not watching harem self-insert "stuck in a fantasy universe" generic light-novel adaptation #431
Don't understand art
missing out on all the discussion
Only newfags and cancer actually come here for threads about older anime, or, god forbid, "/A/ culture" threads such as the epic animals talking japanese or >trope + wacky reaction image sht.
I'm not a cynical snob on a high horse.
Proceeds to be a snob in the next sentence.
I'm not being a snob if what i'm saying is objectively true
this is some high quality posting itt keep it up anons
Watching with Sup Forums makes shows that would be shit bearable and in some cases even fucking hilarious
Mayoiga is a great example
I look forward to that every week just because of all the shit that goes on Sup Forums because of it
So faggots don't spoil me constantly. That's why I don't ever watch any light Nobel shit so those elitist can't constantly spout off memes.
Only anime original shit for me
Do you hear yourself when you talk? Can you read what you have typed and understand what it means?
Yes, of course.
Because you have shit to look forward to. To dread and hype along with others in real time. To share an experience not compare an experience.
missing out on shitposting in the weekly threads
At least half of the shows I watch now are only worth it because of the threads
1. Because I'm not an ADHD faggot
2. Because one week goes by surprisingly quickly
3. Because the best part about watching anime is talking about it with Sup Forums
4. Because I enjoy watching all kinds of anime, and this format allows me to watch as many series as I want at once
5. Because some series are simply impossible to watch all in one go (and if you decide to break them down into parts while watching other series at the same time, it's pretty much the same thing as watching ongoing shows but with none of the upsides)
6. Probably something else as well but I'm too fucking tired to think right now
In other words, OP, you require more experience if you honestly can't watch ongoing shows. (You probably shouldn't be here either if you can't find any interest in them)
are you autistic? it's the hype, the funposting, and not knowing what the fuck will happen. That, and finding rare new gems like uchuu patrol or macross delta
Dubs confirm Mayoiga is shit
You are a fucking piece of shit. Kill yourself.
status of Sup Forums
I think this is some kind of advanced autism, but I like to look at charts of past seasons and remember my past. Things like:
I watched this show right when I started to watch anime
I watched this show while I was at high school
I watched this show when I confessed my love to the girl I used to like and got rejected
I watched this show when I was a NEET
I watched this show when I got my first job
I watched this show when I lost my first job
I watched this show during my current NEET state
Is this autism?
i can't comprehend greatness
kys newfags, this shit's been out for years now there's literally no excuse for not watching any good anime pre 2000's
You don't need seasonal to link shows to memories. I get weird linked nostalgia with PPD and LoGH but I watched them batch
Kill yourself cancer fag. If you and the newfags die there might be something worth saving
don't need dumbs to confirm that mayoiga is shit
thinking we're supposed to have watched all the "good" anime that's been out since the pre 2000's
People actually think this?
there might be something worth saving
What are you even referring to faggot? If it's this chinese website then don't hold your breath because it's been going to shit for years now.
It gives me something to look forward to. Which is enough to get me through another day. There are times when the the only reason I didn't kill myself was because I was curious what would happen in a series I was watching. Things aren't that bad for me anymore, but it's still the difference between little motivation and none.
Are you me, user? ;_;
It really was... I was so happy when she finally stopped laying on exposition forever...
Because threads about ongoing shows have speculation and shitposting instead of just shitposting.
95% of the anime consisting of 12 episodes that are 40 minutes long is dialogue. Togame isn't the only character.
I've watched all the good anime, but I still need more.
I hate watching ongoing.
The onyl thing I'm watching ongoing is JoJo.
For the most part I prefer old 70-90's OVA's though. Shorter, more condensed stories and you can tell the people gave a shit about the project for the most part.
As opposed to the standard moeshit now.
Also unless I really like the series, watching 24 episodes or more is usually not something I want to do, because theres inevitably going to be fluff.
Time is going to keep going anyway, might as well fill it with something other than
Yeah, but I really enjoyed her bleeding out slowly and dying in severe pain. Is that so wrong?
I thought the ending was a bit shit. I think it was mostly because they needed to do so much, but having <1 min fights was kinda shitty even if it made sense for story purposes.
I follow less series as the years go by. It's understandable to not follow a thing every week, but sometimes watching it with Sup Forums is worth it. Not only is the shitposting evolving, but it's very possible to have good threads from time to time. For example, it's almost impossible to start new threads from old series due to how it was treated when it aired or how it was discussed to death. I still think it's better than marathoning copious amounts in one day, this coming from someone that used to watch more than 2 cours all the time.
