Blissfully naive

This cat had a warm place to sit before 9/11, now look at him.

it was a whole different place

u used to think that somali girl in my school was just cold all the time

We had a high trust society. It was ignorance though but having the goverment over your shoulder in everything you do is far worse.

this is what life was like:

youtube.com/watch?v=RYbe-35_BaA

it was a lot easier to pull crime off

There was dinosaurs and shit the 911 buildings didn't exist thousands of years ago. They were fairly new compared to even the newest and last dinosauruses

People didnt live in fear while loudly proclaiming that they weren't afraid

Felt quite... surplus

Listen to Vaporwave to get the feels. Specifically listen to News At 11 by Cat System Corp which is a uses 9/11 as a concept.

I was 15 when it happened. Everything is pretty much the same except we know Muslims are scum now.

You forgot the part where you are being monitored like a child now.

It's like a foreign country now.

Winders ninety-five!

1945-2001

The first half was fear of getting nuked, second half was Americans just having fun. I think we stopped having as much fun after 9/11

>was watching archived 9/11 news coverage a few months ago
>completely blew my mind that not one station even considered the possibility that it was terrorism until the second plane hit
I wish I new, man.

There were no rapefugees. All muslims came from wealthy or middle class families and were conservative republicans. They were well respected even by pretty much everyone up to that point. So yes, the turning point in muslim chimpouts in the US was ironically after 9/11

So fucking comfy, I wish I had that view

It was simpler, happier and ultimately better in general, but let's not bullshit ourselves into thinking that life on this rock was SO MUCH BETTER pre-9/11. It wasn't. Things were only marginally better pre-9/11. We were still in a steep decline in the years leading up to 9/11 and 9/11 only made that decline faster and more intense.

Fuck 9/11. I was supposed to fight and die in the Pacific, yet I was born 50 years too late.

>ywn see the Twin Towers fall right in front of your windows at a safe distance away from you while you fap to trap porn

It was nice. It wasn't a cyberpunk dystopia.

No 3rd world hordes, no terrorists, no ISIS, no government that tortures people and watches everything, no mudsharks, less whores, less snobs, no beta males, less gangs, less drugs, less heroin, literally everything was better.

Comfy

I grew up around a bunch of privileged white people, they had a bunch of crap my parents couldn't afford, and so i said fuck white people

now that the white people got what was coming to them, now i have to deal with a bunch of fucking immigrants from everywhere who are essentially privileged in their own ways in this liberal era , and can be as equally as bad as those white people i knew grewing up

and so ive ultimately realized everyone can be a fucking jackass and the good lot of you human beings should be punished by God, regardless of your race or religion, because youre all selfish and believe youre all the best in most cases

nothing much ever changes really from my view

- t. native american

was 19 when it happened.
Watched live on tv whilst smoking weed with roommates.
Many references to bombs and demolition were being made on tv and among us.
I didn’t lose hope until 2003 when I realized Jews where behind everything, and that they likely had used tech that would baffle people even in 2017.
Imagine the magic they have now.

good thing hes got all that fur

you sound like a bit of a cunt tbqh

Life was just better.

Something got broken that day.

>literally everything was better.
this

Things were simpler.

Americans needn't have worried about their own government murdering them on a day by day basis by means of indeed skyscraper demolition or liquidation after kidnapping, or inexplicable mass shootings obfuscated by the likes of the FBI, CIA, and NSA. Now they are cattlepeople and the world circles the toilet. They are the anus, the babylon, the sodom and the gomorrah.

It's true. People hardly noticed Muslims. Just were indifferent to them

If you lived in America you would be getting free gibs.

Yeah the world woke up to the muslim scum alright. And then proceeded with inviting them into their homes.

why is it that after an event that should have made Muslims humble as fuck and been reason to expell them from the country, they got more uppity than ever and america started mass importing them?

IS THIS THE MOST 90S THING THAT EVER EXISTED

2003-2006 was fucking grim

>tfw youtube.com/watch?v=RYbe-35_BaA

glad you gained a good perspective on how fucked up most are in it for team me

Better generally, at least if you lived in the West anyway.

They have missiles that can force an inward explosion, allowing them to hit one or two targets, kill them with the inward pressure, and not touch another fucking thing nearby.

truth only old fags know these feels.

Soon youll realize how much better it was with white people
You were just jealous of their nice stuff, when muslims and chinks would genocide you

Get raped idiot.

Politics didn't have the live-or-die, quasi-religious importance that they have today. Identity politics also weren't a thing. Somebody disregarding your opinion because you are White would never ever have been said, even ironically. There was nothing on TV like the Jersey Shore or the Kardashians. TV didn't have diversity quotas so you had all-White casts like Friends, Frasier, ... I mean pretty much everything. Commercials also didn't have mandatory diversity quotas. Degenerate rap was confined to niggers, and the rap that White people listened to didn't peddle misogyny, drugs, and ape values. Music was generally wholesome. In fact, everything was wholesome (except of course the staple media diet of sexual promiscuity). People still met other people and arranged plans in person. You could actually chat with people at a cafe -- I've probably been to a cafe 60 times in the past year alone and have never seen two strangers interact unless it was a customer-employee interaction. America was still very much mainstream White. White guilt was hardly pressed on the populace, so you could feel good about being White. Kids weren't able to look up 4k interracial gangbang porn or How To Twerk eHow articles at the age of 11. Where I grew up, which was 90's early 00's in the suburbs, I would bike over to my friend's houses if I wanted to hang out with him. I almost never see young people outside anymore, I suppose most social activity is done through organized sports and such.

There was still HEAVY social faux-pas as evidenced by 00's comedy. If you were a cool 16 year old you would be amazed and flabbergasted by George Carlin, because shock comedy was literally brand new (for the mainstream). Now shock comedy is not even just the norm, but the boring norm, so we're now exploring ironic and post-ironic shock comedy. You can judge a lot about a society from comedy -- the more wholesome the comedy the more wholesome the society, because it needs to surprise you.

>What was life like before 9/11?

I peaked in high school so everything after that was downhill

Basically the same, but with less open homosexuality.

...

user., that's about ten years prior...

>republican flag
Oh...

1987 is still before 9/11 you retard

To be fair, Clinton robbed the social security funds to create that "Surplus".

Everyone thought the Jews were white.

Thanks for sharing, sometimes I think my mind just make my memories better than they actually were.
But seeing this video reminds me that we truly lost something deep on a fundamental level.
