Should I drop out of college and pursue a trade?

Should I drop out of college and pursue a trade?

Seems like most things Im interested (philosophy history literature) are things that one can easily teach themselves. Convince me to pursue a degree or pursue a trade school certificate.

sell your boipussy for heroin

Trades will only increase in demand while your local library or internet will have all the shit you would learn in college for free. You don't need to pay thousands of dollars to be baby sat while you read a book.
Go be an electrician or plumber.

If you do any of those you have to go to Law School.

> Do you want to be a Lawyer? Continue
> Do you want to do anything else without being a Lawyer? Learn a trade.

Get a real major. Then do what you're "interested in" on the weekends.

Interests don't pay the bills, fuckhead

You are more likely to become employed in a trade than with a degree. You are also more likely to make more than the average college faggots salary. Trades for the most part dont need to be worried about being replaced by automation.

You sound happy with your choices

Why are you in college for something that can be learned for free? nothing of what you stated needs a degree to pursue as a career.

I don't want to be some STEMfag who gets his job outsourced/insourced to a Pajeet or a chink

Which trades are the best? I hear Electricians make the most money and the most well respected.

College can push you to achieve goals you might not want to do otherwise.

lawyers or doctors are the only ones that have a good reason to be in school

I know philsophy literature and history can be learned for free, but a career in any of these fields would require some type of degree.

and then snort heroin off a hookers butthole

>Shilling for people to do blue collar work for 20 years before they open their own business to make 50,000 per year? Slaving away on your knees/standing for 10 hours per day for your cryptokike contracting boss.

NEPOTISM IN TRADES IS WORSE THAN ANY OTHER FIELD

APPRENTICESHIPS DO NOT EXIST ANYMORE.

fuck off with the boomer memes

why do you want to work for someone else? especially in those fields?

If you're a normie you can honestly just finish the meme degree, work in restaurants or retail and find enough people who like you to make a living with ""soft skills"", it worked for me

>Convince me to pursue a degree or pursue a trade school certificate.
Join the military in a relevant profession. Keep in mind, I said a 'relevant' profession.
> Military Intelligence
> Security Forces/MP
> CID/NCIS/OSI
etc.

Drop out of college. Get job as a sparkie. Save some cash for a few years. Go back and do electrical engineering at uni. Or don't

You do too

You have an opportunity to choose the CHAD life over faggot ancap virgin life.

>Learn a trade
>Save money
>Invest in some cryptocurrency
>If bitcoin drops and everyone freaks out, maintain cool because you will know it will just climb up again
>Work out, get buff
>Put on a humble exterior
>In secret learn esoteric philosophy
>Acquire a vast knowledge of occultism
>Practice dark magic
>Buy and learn how to use guns
>Get a gf
>Explain to her she is nothing more than a baby making machine
>She will be sour at first but will quickly succumb to your hyper masculinity

While dropping out seems like a waste of already spent tuition, the answer is yes.

Learning a skill people are willing to pay you (good) money for is a skill worth pursuing and trade schools are generally cheaper and filled with much less bullshit than college.

Treat your philosophy history as a hobby. God knows there are worse ways to spend your free time. Hell, let's say you you become a geologist for an oil company or an electrician for a mine and you make major bank. You can always go to college when you have the cash and time to do so and finish your degree then.

People often make fun of older people who go to college for fun, but at least they are doing it at a time when they can afford to.

Yeah I know all those fields are filled with shitlibs and commies.

>fuck off with the boomer memes

Never heard a boomer shill for trades. Every boomer I know has told me "go to college, it doesn't matter what you major in, you'll figure it out"

>I hear Electricians make the most money and the most well respected.
engineer union makes more than electricians, but it's close

Feels great to be a STEMfag. My bills are paid, I don't have to work outside in the shitty weather. I work with my brain. Life is good user.

Do the opposite of whatever society is telling you to do.
Those of my generation were told to go to college, get a degree and "be something" - Tradesmen are making more on average and generally seem happier than career-minded peeps.

Seems like everyone is telling your generation to get a trade cert.

I would go with the degree if I was you.

I bet hes happier having money to support himself than he would be broke with a bunch of knowledge about books. History, philosophy, and literature do not translate to careers.

idk where u live in the country. Im a white STEM fag and the connections I have like me because I am relatable and don't act like a robot. Chinks and indians might have the famiry whipped brain over me, but they suck to work with in the workplace. Try and go stem, but retain a confident yet charismatic attitude and youll be fine.

Going to college for fun drives up the costs for people who are there for utility. Hobby classes should be eliminated or moved into separate hobby schools. Currently it functions as a way of scamming kids who don't know any better out of money they don't have.

Robots can and will replace most trades.

Tradefags really want to believe there is some sort of high demand when in reality its only highly specialized trades that are in a slight need. Most are going into fields carpentry which will be the first to go lmao.

They think they will be making what a 70 year old boomer tradesman (owner) makes while his contractors work 60 hours a week for 40k until they're 40.

It's a giant cope for poor people.

redpill me on how robots will replace electricians and carpenters, but not computer programmers.

kek

Electricians perhaps later, but carpenters could be replaced now with the technology available easily.

Computer science meme tier mobile application majors are already hard pressed to find any real employment. Computer engineers will always be needed to innovate new ideas and the as of now the robot or AI is only as smart as the programer can make it. Probably will end up with small group of highly specialized CS engineers and more won't be required.

I think most stemfags will be just as fucked unless you're highly connected and high IQ thanks too all the new americans.

Drop the literature and philosophy. Major in history with a concentration in political science or economics. Then you can try to break into finance and get sponsored by a company to get accredited (Series licensing etc). Insurance or accounting is a good way to break in. If you're not into the numbers, then you can always go the government route. Plenty of cushy public policy gigs out there. Don't like Uncle Sam either (fggt), well hey look, you got a BA or BS alreay. Go get your Master's and teach. Real talk. Finish school.

>go to college
>go to trade school
Is there another option? I just want to work for myself and be filthy fucking rich.

You would probably make the same money but it's harder work, this means you come home tired and can't earn as much as you get older. Also, likely worse benefits. Our people should aim to be educated professionals that make money with their minds. You could always switch majors.

t. Tradesman making $32/hr, $75-80k

>Electricians perhaps

I don't think you know what goes into it.

>Electricians perhaps later

Dude you're high if you think electrician work can be replaced by a robot anytime soon.

>falling for the materialist jew

>t. Tradesman making $32/hr, $75-80k
I wish I could get paid this.

I hear that unions are very selective about who they let in, how true is this?

It's a waste of time unless you're well connected or in a specialised course, meme things like humanities, business etc get you no where

Frankly I wish I never went, I'd honestly rather have just done some shitty factory job

I wish there was a way to prove your knowledge in any given field without having to go to school. I hate the fact that school is necessary to get any decent job even if you know for a fact you have the knowledge and capabilities required for the job.

Uncle bob here saying hi

'ave a good day brudda

If work is good, they are not very selective. For me, I had to have diploma or GED, I had to have take Algebra 1 and had to take an entrance exam. You have a good chance and when you start you will make about half that with a raise every 6 months to a year.

I started studying politics in uni just to quit half a year later due to being lazy as fuck (that was before I got redpilled). No regrets though, going to pursue electricians degree while I read philosophy in my free time and expand my point of view.
