Was this the sham of the century?

Was this the sham of the century?

I don't understand why the west keeps founding those GiS wannabees.

How about a Twin Peaks esque anime or are MUTURE SERIOUS anime fans really that obnoxious?

I think this is one of the few if not the only GitS clone funded by a foreign country. What are you on about?

Did this come out yet? Haven't heard anything about it in years.

The only other anime I've seen being funded by westerners was LWA. Is that a GitS clone?

Pretend it didn't come out.
It was a large disappointment.

LWA's second OVA isn't at all comparable to UTD. With LWA you had Trigger, a professional studio that's run by professional animators who've already done the first installment of this franchise and so you know they're capable of delivering, and they just want funding to do the second one. But UTD was run by nobodies and they didn't have anything but concept sketches and I think the bare bones of a script asking for money despite not really having much to show for themselves.

>Under the Dog
Does it actually mean something in English?
Whenever I hear that title I imagine a bestiality anime.

How so?

It's Engrish, not English. It doesn't mean anything at all.

I don't think so. There is the phrase "Under Dog" which means someone who is at a significant disadvantage in a competition, but I don't think that "under THE dog" has any real meaning besides how it sounds literally.

They were trying to say "the underdog".

What we saw in the trailer wasn't what we got in the end. If it was anything like the trailer it would've been great.

I don't mind if a product doesn't look as its trailer as long as the final product is good.
Was the product good, forgettable or bad?

Soooooo, what was under the dog?

That's great, but that's not what I was saying. I just don't see many GitS clones being funded by westerners as the previous post claimed, or anime in general.

Another dog, it's dogs all the way down!

I almost feel sorry for the retards that thought they were funding an OVA and got a fucking pilot episode instead

Forgettable.
I'm not saying it LOOKED bad, I'm saying it doesn't seem to have anything at all in common with the trailer.

It was like the first episode of a cheesy action anime. It barely did anything. It technichally looked good visually but was a garbage experience.

Me

Dog in a Lobster Under the Dog?

I see.
Why are all the Kickstarter projects based on

>"(thing) is shit right now; we're going to do (thing) like in the good old times"

rethoric always so underwhelming?

LWA and Nekopara were kind of just like "Ok we'll do this if you want us to"

liked it. the gun play was good. I doubt there will be more thou

Just your typical foreigner wants to use english lingo title.
