Who would win?

Who would win?

Obviously the power grid, as it was proven.

octahedrons objectively best geometrical object

>liking 3DPD

>Japs have 60 HZ and 50 Hz
That's retarded.

You know all those manga and anime with Japanese East vs West war?
This just fuels the fire

I'm gonna have to go with the Octahedron

I just finished the reboot and have concluded its worse than the original.

Why was a reboot done in the firstplace?

Money

...

I actually like the rebuilds better than the original
The production was a clusterfuck in the original, and it really shows

Maybe I don't like the way it plays out differently than the original.

Sure the animation is better, I just wish they would've stuck to the original story a little more.

Simply making a higher budget remake would have been stupid
At least you have some curiosity and suspense in these because it's new stuff
And the fact that not even Anno knows what the fuck is gonna happen makes me even more hyped because in both good and bad, it's gonna be a wild ride

>it's gonna be a wild ride
Indeed. I just want it to end already

Apparently they bought their first 2 electric generators from different countries and kept it that way ever since.

Don't worry user, he's wrong. Reboots are actually made for money.

...

Well done.

Its not actually a reboot, its a sequel.

Just you fucking wait.

What makes you say that

I'm pretty sure they're talking about the loop theory.

The loop theory?

Come on its quite obvious they drop hint bombs the entire time.
Basically the point of the entire thing is they keep trying instrumentality but getting it wrong and changing bits of it everytime to affect the outcome.

What mechanism are they using to turn back the clock?

Speed force.

Try it in english

They dont they continue from some point after the apocalypse as if nothing happened. Theres physically evidence left everywhere. In the case of rebuild theres a stain on the moon, the sea is red ,crashed prototype eva etc
This existed in the original too with the unexplained giant markers.

>This existed in the original too with the unexplained giant markers.
Oh fuck you're right

So are they brainwashing Shinju everytime?

Thats one of the unclear parts but its sort of stated everyone would come back from the red sea in time so they just all sort of crawl out and begin repopulating the world

Ram, you can't beat a good 'ol rooty tooty shooty and spinny point.

I'm not aware of all of the intricate details, but if you pay attention to Kaworu's lines when he wakes up on the moon, and the several coffins, then you might understand. It's basically the idea that there's some sort of 'timeloop' after each third-impact or something along those lines, where Shinji restarts the world again and again.

If you like the rebuilds at all then you didn't get the original in the first place

This fucker.

Kado >>> puny Japanese power grid

We don't know exactly what's happening but there's a bunch of unusual dialogue and out of place artifacts in Rebuild that suggest it has some kind of link to the TV series continuity.

Whether it's a sequel, parallel universe, or something else is yet to be seen.

Wasn't it a battle harem with not!mechas and weird ayyliums?

It was a coming of age story with literal metaphors and a cast of mentally ill people.

So what I said
That remains in the rebuilds

>angels
>aliens
wew lad

Anime is not real.

You can say what you want but it was very friendly that the angels would only send one enemy once a week

I really want to believe the rebuilds had an sparkle of originality during its conception, but so far all it seems is that anno is trying to write a sequel for a series that clearly wasnt created to have one, and is using some cut eva plot ideas to do so.

Which giant markers in NGE? I cant remember.

Yeah, What giant markers? I must have forgotten about those and now I'm curious.

Were your born yesterday

He's not wrong. They are technically aliens.
As much aliens as lilim are.

At the end of EoE there are the mass production evas in a red sea.
In episode one you are shown an outline that marked the spot of a giant that fell over and the ground is stained red.

There's also the sea being red and those blood covered hillsides with the giant, humanoid body outlines on them.

Its basically because they were being released to a schedule. Possibly by SEELE

>In episode one you are shown an outline that marked the spot of a giant that fell over and the ground is stained red.
Are you sure this isnt a rebuild exclusive thing? I cant find anything like that in the episode 1 of the anime. I do remember when it shows up in the rebuild.

Theres all sorts of interesting unusual things in rebuild.
One is the fact that the new Angels have all evolved new plan B strategies that catch the cast off guard as if they had learned from the mistakes of the previous angels.
Strange dialogue by various characters hinting at memory of past events or knowing more than they let on.
And subsequent impacts have been started post the impact in rebuild that starts the time skip.
Adam was contained hunched over by spears when they find him. Then of course it happens again in the final film with another Eva awakening.
