Name something in an Anime or a Manga that really pisses you off.

>Anime/manga starts with a clear goal.
>Said goal is finally reached.
>It keeps going.
Why

Nia - TTGL. Geez, I hate her so fuckin' much.

this is why sword art online is trash

>high school setting

So true.

The opposite hurts too.

>Anime/Manga/LN sets a clear goal
>it's not reached
>Shitty sub-plot is shoehorned in instead
>End on a "epic cliffhanger" in order to hype for a S2, hopefully
>The entire series feels like a waste of time to watch
Fucking Rokka no Yuusha, man.

NTR

You left out:
>Season 2 never.

So you don't watch anime?

I would not want a season 2 of that garbage to be honest.

>Monsters
>The part that could make the anime really great
>CGI

>Premise in the preview is great
>Interesting staff
>Series is a direction clusterfuck plagued with QUALITY writing

>Character can have sex with a beautiful woman and keeps saying no
>Okay if its for a reason
>There is no real reason not to and humanity is at stake if he does not fuck her

>Hokuto no Ken has the perfect ending with Raoh dying
>somehow still keeps going
>ok, Kaioh is dead. Now the manga can finally end
>still keeps on fucking going
>doesn't even have a bigger plotline anymore

When the girls do that fucking "ehh?" Sound. Gets me every time

>character eats/drinks literally anything
>OISHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

>open beer
>chug it down
>PSSSSHHHAAAAAAAAA!!!
Someone make them stop. please. I can't stand it anymore

Well that's mostly the case with anime, but they're made only to promote the original work so that's kinda expected.

Lazy art

I don't mean art so bad that it becomes kinda funny again. Just trashy art that makes everything look like the artist did not give a single fuck. Does this look like a page that is ready to be published? It looks like a fucking early desgin sketch

Romance that never goes anywhere
and still I love Tomo-chan

It really depends, sketchy art can be really beautiful if it's well done, your pic related doesn't bother me that much.

>high pitched lolis
>unironic overreaction
>engrish
>too much information/characters shoved in our face in the first episode

the sleeping in and running to school with a piece of toast in your mouth meme. really triggers me timbers

>loli grows up
Only the worst piece of shit of mangaka does that.

>isekai to middle ages fantasy land
>character accepts their new circumstance immediately
>never talks about where he's from or what earth is like
>never get to see the isekai characters react to superior earth tech or weird earth customs
>main character acts like a retard meme gamer otaku the whole time
>doesnt fuck any of the beautiful interested women
>spends 100000 million chapters on romance sub plots that dont progress
>after 1 trillion chapters the mc and ONE girl hold hands
>spend 1 trillion more chapters not doing anything
>mc gets into power level pissing match with villains instead of coming up with creative solutions

>characters talk about how awesome something (like a fight) is
>art/animation is too shitty to actually make it look awesome

god I hate that one

>any anime where mc finds himself face to face with a hot girl who is dtf
>"t-this is bad"

Also
>"at this rate watashi...."

>series starts out with a comfy as fuck feeling
>as the stakes keep rising the comfiness slowly disappears and a whole chunk of what made the series charming is gone

It doesn't anger me as much as it saddens me to no end.

>loli has a soft whispery voice and acts more mature and calm than adults
I really can't stand these memes anymore

I agree with the sentiment that sketchy art can be good. Artwork that is really clean and finished but gets the basic proportions wrong, or that has really stiff poses or faces despite being super detailed really annoy me. Art is supposed to evoke a feeling or movement not necessarily be "super clean or detailed". I actually like the page you posted, but I see what you're saying and if there was any less detail or effort I would probably dislike it.

Obviously there're exceptions and this doesn't forgive someone being "lazy". This is why I love Tsuruta Kenji's artwork, though that's not a great example because his art is quite detailed.

I hope Kaguya-san stops with the drama as soon as possible and goes back to the usual comedy.

What the fuck happened to one piss.
I used to like it

One Piece didn't change much actually, it's more like you grow up.

Something that pisses me off a lot is those mangaka that almost never puts any background, there you can feel the laziness.

Yes I agree. It gets very annoying when every scene takes place in limbo. Sometimes that is due to a tough schedule and not enough assistants. It IS mostly due to a subpar mangaka though.

See the accelerator spinoff manga as a great example...

>baseball episode
>beach episode
>enter our friends dreams episode

I kinda feel like one piece got too big for its britches
Too many characters, too much happening.
And now the only way to give crew members screentime is by splitting the crew up. And he STILL keeps adding more characters.

I don't know what its called other than the "Naruto Run". Looks dumb as hell and I hate seeing it whenever it turns up.

Splitting the crew has always been a thing ever since Alabasta, if not before.

When I think of the little witch academia tv show I get pissed off

>character is a "planner"
>seems like he has lost
>nope, he just did some things offscreen and now he's winning
>"Curse you character!"

Not in the scale "literally on another island".
Yes, they got split up in Alabasta, but then they all got back together and escaped together.
There was also other interactions (Ussop getting beaten up by Mr.2, then going to find Chopper in the middle of a battlefield) that make the crew feel a more like a team.

>flashback to something that happened 5 min ago
>characters just stand around and explain things all episode because fuck having to animate shit
>villain explains his unique powers and abilities after he uses them for the first time on screen

>flashback to something that happened 5 min ago
>characters just stand around and explain things all episode because fuck having to animate shit
>villain explains his unique powers and abilities after he uses them for the first time on screen
WHY

sorry I didn't think it got posted the first time

it's ok user mistakes happen

>new antagonist
>Fights main character
>Fight ends in a draw
>Antagonist becomes friends with mc
>New antagonist
>Friend steps up to fight
>Was evenly matched with mc
>Gets fucking bodied
>Mc somehow wins
>Friend becomes totally irrelevant
>Wash
>Rinse
>Repeat

Tomboy loses

>There is something I need to tell you
>random distraction in the background
>I'm sorry, what is it you wanted to say?
>うーん, なんでもない
Last part in moon because I have no clue how to write うーん the way it sounds

Misunderstandings that could be cleared up with a 30 second conversation that never happens.

>romance series
>turns into harem
>it's not even an actual harem, since the main girl is destined to win anyway

>cardboard cutout beta MCs with no goal or purpose

>high schoolers communicating with each other using pretentious pseudo-philosophical speeches

>whole bunch of fun girls
>MC drools over a boring doormat or a violent tsundere

>someone wins the fight, but gotta go
>time required to finish off opponent: 2 seconds
>time wasted on running mouth before departing: 1 minute
And pretty much all cases of supposedly experienced characters being ridiculously inefficient.

>romance series ends the very moment main characters confess to each other
>not even a glimpse of their lives as a couple is shown

>fantasy settings that are stock game worlds with stock game mechanics
>bonus gear grinding if MC is stupidly op from the start and everyone sucks his dick
>even more bonus gear grinding if he doesn't do anything fun with his world-breaking powers and just aimlessly keeps low profile while collecting haremettes

>obnoxious and loud utter idiot MC whose power is to punch things, never give up and go on about MUH NAKAMA

>find a new manga that i really like
>its monthly
>the author releases new chapter whenever the fuck he wants.
is not that i want them to work like a fucking robot but it doesn't stop me from getting mad

Funny thing is they sometimes even do it after drinking juice. I honestly couldn't grasp why

>two females on screen
>they aren't /u/ with each other

hetshit go die reeeeeee

>romance subplot
>they don't get together

What drives me up fucking the wall is how they say "huh". You know, that AREEE???AREEE????.

Fuck that shit.

(You)

>>MC drools over a boring doormat
Doormats are great.

But I agree with everything else you said.

>Anime has a clear goal
>Let's fart around for a full season
>Nothing gets resolved
>go read the light novel

>blogging
It's like you're fucking new.

Anime and Manga piss me off.

You may be on the wrong board, user

It's like is not fucking summer.

What the fuck is up with people shitposting by calling things blogs that aren't blogs? This is the fourth time I've seen it in two days. I don't know if it's one samenewfag or not, but either way, you need to be permanently IP-range banned and punched in the face.

LISTEN HERE YOU LITTLE NEWSHIT: BLOG POSTING IS TALKING ABOUT YOUR FUCKING LIFE. IT'S NOT SAYING YOU LIKE ANIME OR DISLIKE ANIME; THAT'S CALLED "ANIME DISCUSSION".

Characters blatantly declare their emotions

>"I'm really pissed off now!"

Is this a Japanese cultural thing?

>anime/manga is one type of genre
>as soon as a certain episode or chapter happens, the rest of the series follows suit to what that series is
Medaka Box was all right, but it's change was OK. Just fucking confusing and not realizing that this was really fucking happening.
Same with Samurai Flamenco.

STOP BLOGGING HOLY SHIIIITTTT

Cunt ass women that are either really bitchy or really violent towards the MC who didn't do anything to deserve it, and not being told off
That's why I hate Love Hina except for that one chapter when Keitaro's sister comes over and kicks the crap out of Naru

Tsundere in general actually

10/10

>army/special forces trained to fight show up
>they job super fucking hard against the bad guys, proving themselves completely useless
>the day is saved by the teenaged kid with no training or experience

And to think the only anime I know of that doesn´t pull this fucking bullshit is Izetta the Last Witch...

Also:
>presents female characters as super powerful and good at what they do
>MC is male, though, and you know what THAT means!

Nobody even liked the monster-of-the-week format of early Medaka Box.

>twig armed women and children
>able to best giant mountain men who have trained their whole lives without the aid of magical bullshit because they have """"""talent"""""

I remember this manga page posted on Sup Forums once, where this boy destroys this girl in a judo match and berates her for thinking girls had the same strength as men.

>Characters acting OOC/like idiots/not using their powers for reasons of plot convenience
>a light/dark series having a tone shift for practically no reason
>Shonen protags dismissing the villian's ideology and achieving victory by screaming
>fights devolving into "who can fire the bigger energy blast first"
>Idiot shonen protags in general
>female characters not being on the same level/getting the same treatment as male characters

>Hiroshima Nagasaki clan's super special snowflake hidden sword technique: six gorillion chuuni words

I remember Eyeshield 21 introducing some little kid right before it's final story arc who could push away even the big guys because he had some random pushing technique that only he knew about somehow. It was extremely weird and one character spends the entire final match trying to imitate it later.

editor san meddling
shitty writers not being reigned in by editors

its a lose lose.

>elves

>QT anime grill speaks
>the voice isn't HanaKana

>character suddenly reveals a power out of nowhere, no foreshadowing whatsover
>"M-MASAKA!"

same user

They spend less budget on best girl and more budget on not best girl.

Cringy drama about friendship and other bullshit like "realizing that I'm actually worth something in life". Similar stuff can be done right too, but Christ do the Japanese suck at it. I absolutely despise these cliché dramas

The mediocre artstyle standards that some manga publication magazines accept, it looks horrible and shouldn't be greenlit at all.

*CLANG*

I hate how they can fight with everything that have using super powers, fireballs, giga beams, death rays, giant scissors etc, and no one gets killed for the sake of keeping the good guys hands clean.

>muscular guys are slow as hell
>muh speed is superior despite being a twig armed fuck face

>everyone celebrates loudly the INSTANT something appears to happen as if they knew it would happen
>they were wrong

Holy shit Frieza's a girl?

>MC about to fight super tough foe, but...
>losing condition for main character is impossible considering the rest of the story
>losing would mean death, expulsion, etc.
>absolutely no stakes because the MC can't lose

food wars does this consistently. "if you lose, you get expelled" well shit guess he's gonna win then! allowing lower stakes can create better tension, which something like haikyuu does well (allowing the main characters to lose because, all in all, it's just a volleyball tournament, and the story could still continue after a loss)

>characters don't confess by the end of the series

>Pure CG series

>Isekai manga being drawn based on LN that aren't done yet

>Harem manga that never climax. Or really just the "harem" genre in general.

>MC's that are afraid of intimacy, have psychotic sense of justice, bulldoze their way through whatever; One dimensional Fake heroes of justice.

>anime is complete
>creator wants more money so they make a sequel bait movie that sets up a grand final arc
>"I'll get back to it one day"
>years go by and creator still says the final arc is a possibility

Anno and Magica Quartet may as well just admit they aren't good enough to conclude their respective franchises in a satisfactory way.

You mean shojo?

>sequel is created to a series
>is a soulless cash grab that ruins the original by proxy of existing

>random faggots shot blasts at main villain and yell 'YEAH we did it!' while the villaing is covered in smoke
>villaing gets out
>B-B-BAKANA!

>The anime's art looks really good
>Anime ends
>pick up the manga
>the art is shit

Happened to me with haikyuu
I still haven't started reading it
