What's the worst anime adaptation for a great source?

What's the worst anime adaptation for a great source?

Berserk is probably the best example considering they're adapting the parts where the manga was in its prime.

You posted it.

>berserk
>great source

Care to elaborate?

Berserk is edgy garbage made for teenagers written by a hack so that he could live out his rape fantasies

This but unironically

it's still better than your favorite manga

Most CLAMP anime are pretty shit conpared to the manga

mekakucity actors

>berserk
>great
retards

Shingetsutan Tsukihime.

shitty bait son

Seacats

OP said GREAT source not dogshit

Bait

Not as awful as the beserk anime, but Gash Bell's anime is so awful relative to the manga, only thing it does right is the OST and songs

guys he posted an anime smug face with his statement, there is no way he could be wrong

not the worst but jitsu wa watashi wa was pretty bad

I'd say Tokyo Ghoul, I've only seen the anime and still don't understand what was going on

Inarguably berserk.
As for a few other shit adaptations in general:
Love hina
Rosario vampire

For the opposite of berserks adaptation see:
Azumanga

The Tokyo Ghoul adaptation is legendarily awful. The manga isn't amazing or anything but it looks like a fucking masterpiece compared to what the anime did, even in the first season before it went full retard with anime-original shit.

>tfw remake never

>Azumanga
What was wrong with the manga?

This is a problem? Rape in manga is sexy. I've slapped my salami silly like a wet dog since reading it.

But the anime is hilarious after learning the truth.

Aku no Hana
rotoscope was not a mistake

Never forget that this is supposed to be the face of the most beautiful male in the world.

more like fantasies of getting raped

I wonder if Miura is partly pulling hiatus hell on us because he doesn't want them to spoil his masterpiece any further? That would be understandable.

I wonder how he feels about watching this atrocity that turned his life's work into.

>I've slapped my salami silly like a wet dog since reading it.

I thought I was the only one waggling his willy silly to Berserk. Thanks for making me feel better.

Death note
The animation is shit with QUALITY moments here and there with dull ass colors and simplified dull color scheme
Not to mention they took out a lot of monologues and totally fucked up the pacing in the post L arc
Not to mention the modified ending
Though they did nail the seiyuus perfectly

Came to post this.
>Clear Arc OVA never ever

excel saga

I liked rotoscopy. Nakamura actress a cute

Gantz, fite me fags

Nabeshin a shit

>edgy garbage made for teenagers
i hate how people superficially just something without knowing shit

>look mom I said it again

>he doesn't know his last 2 hiatus were to work on the anime
>he doesn't know that publisher pushed the anime for publicity

rotoscope

Chaos;Head.

Seconding this, I'm still mad

I'm thinking of watching this. Though I haven't read any of the material I do read the threads here.

Anyone care to elaborate why some of the victims of the supernatural shit make it to Sup Forums's powerlevel charts?

Aku no Hana.

This but he got less edgy over the years hence the quality rapidly dropped since the whole drive behind the story was gone.

Not worst, but they did manage to fuck up Iwaaki's masterpiece.

Yeah, it was kinda sloppy. A lot of dramatic scenes ended up unintentionally funny for some reason.

DEEN's Fate/stay night

Don't watch the anime. If you actually wanna enter umineko then play the visual novel, otherwise don't bother.

The main problem for me was that they left out most of the daily life parts that made all of the characters feel truly human and fun. Instead they exaggerated one trait of each character and simplified them. Obviously it's most obvious in Shinichi's case since he's the MC. In manga he's a regular kid, only a slightly pampered because being an only-child and his mother coming from a rich family but he was just regular fun kid. In the anime at the beginning they made dork out of him and after the change they made him too tense, cold and "mature". It destroyed most of the genius naturalness and subtleness of the original manga.

is the slam dunk adaptation good? i couldn't get down with the voice actors in the sub or dub and the gags didn't seem as funny
