Pro skier Matilda Rapaport dies during promotional film shoot for Ubisoft's Steep
While filming a promotional video for Ubisoft's upcoming extreme sports simulator Steep in Chile, professional skier Matilda Rapaport died after getting caught in an avalanche.
"Matilda was an extraordinary athlete, traveling the world to find her passion, ride steep terrain, and share her bright smile," Red Bull wrote of Rapaport in a memorial post on its website

The face degloving thing might not have been as severe as its expected from looking at google pictures. Maybe it was just partially, or the skin was still holding on and they managed to stitch it back, or some advanced graft technique. Just theorizing here, no idea how the body recovers from having the literal flesh ripped off.
