This doesn't take into account that there are tons of Steam accounts that are basically smurf accounts for DOTA 2, TF2 or CS:GO. Ever wonder why CS:GO is always a top seller? Because Russian hackers and smurfs are constantly making new accounts. I'd go as far to say the Steam survey is impossible to take seriously unless you eliminated profiles with only those three games from the survey. Are there legitimate people that only play DOTA 2 or CS:GO or TF2? Yes, but the majority of single-game accounts are probably not "real" accounts.
I'm honestly tempted to buy Steep, if only because the snowsports genre hasn't seen a damn thing since SSX 2012, and SNOW is still underdeveloped as fuck. But even then I know it's a trap set by Ubisoft to push uPlay bullshit around.
