>some literally who blog by admitted ameritards
>vs gamespot

whoa really mkaes u think

>thinking this would get low reviews
This is literally a good review bait game. And it's the same shit as usual.

uhhuh.

Sigh, if only reviews were indications of quality. How easy it could all be.

"literally who" blogs are best because they don't get that cash infusion for high review scores

It has a female protagonist, they call in the internet lynch mob if you give it less than a 9.

"Guerrilla Games' new open world action RPG has robots, archery, sci-fi, and more. But is it good?"

Who the fuck wrote this, a 12 year old?

Can't wait for Zelda to rank lower than this. Go Sony!

>Having a word barebones to describe its gameplay and they still give it a 9

I knew it was gonna be good. Sup Forums is never right

...

Well I mean both go on Metacritic.... so

gamespot.com/star-wars-the-old-republic/

THIS CONFIRMS IT.

>horizon zero white bois
>not getting high scores

Bare bones melee you sperg. It's obviously focused on ranged combat.

DAILY REMINDER.

>if only reviews were indications of quality
that's generally what reviews are

>Complex and thrilling combat
>Barebones melee

Desu?

My apologies.
I meant to say "actual indications of quality".

Demonstrably false.

>complex and thrilling combat
>including taking down arrow sponges that require you to craft more arrows mid fight!

>consensus determines what right

>Doesn't know Jeremy Parish
>Doesn't know Retronauts
Check yourself before you wreck yourself

...

Horizon Zero Dawn is a "Marvel Cinematic Universe title" of the video game world. It does what's been done time and time again with a fresh count of paint and maybe one or two new gimmicks but ultimately doesn't do anything really interesting or unique compared to it's predecessors because it needs to remain safe for mass market appeal.

Naturally, it's bound to have good reviews by normie outlets.

>rolling?
check
>bow?
check
>killing animals for crafting?
check
>shit story?
check
>shit animations?
check
>shoehorned bullshit sjw crap?
check
>open world meme?
check

The game does nothing new or innovative and this kind of generic shit still gets good reviews only because muh open world and niggers. Holy fuck.

>doesn't know muh e-celeb best friend and retro circlejerk show

Literally drink bleach

>no strawberries
This is not a French review.

>complex combat
>barebones melee mechanics

How can both of these be true at the same time?

Nice fake news, kid

>barebones melee mechanics
>9

I didn't expect anything less than a 9

This game ticks every gamer journalists progressive agenda's box

Can't wait for the fucking explosion from Sup Forums when BotW gets a higher score
I also can't wait for the fucking explosion from Sup Forums when BotW gets a lower score
It's gonna be good either way

>Complex combat
Yeah that's when I immediately dismiss the review.

Super fake reviews.

>Jeremy Parish
>e-celeb

amirite

...

Yup, kill yourself underaged e-celeb worshipper

So it's only a little bit better than Tortanic. i.e. it's shit.

>Good and thrilling combat
>BamHam combat

Okay

>complex combat
>barebones melee mechanics

Yes a 3d Zelda will get below a 90... never ever.

8.8

Do we need a reminder about Gamergate?

8.8 was 11 years ago.

Shills are out in full force tonight, aren't they....

Can't even keep it to less than 3 threads about review scores

I know, the poster I was quoting probably hadn't been born yet

Yes anons, most shooting games tend to have barebones melee combat.

looking back TP was an 8.5/10 game at best

gamespot also gave SS a 7.5/10 which is pretty spot on

Why bother saying it has complex and thrilling combat when it actually isn't at all?

What's so complex about aim n' shootin' with the occasional roll?

You mean a couple weeks of shitposting as usual?

Complex and thrilling *ranged* combat presumably, the meat of the game.

>Complex and thrilling combat

...

>Imaginative enemy design

I suppose.

>Expertly blends natural and technological elements

It does?

>Impactful character development

No.

>Ineffecient user interface

Gee, really?

>Barebones

You can say that again.

I find it particularly almond-activating to see that they're basically saying gameplay is serviceable at best.

fake reviews

>Aloy does not let go

what did he mean by this
