I CANT FUCKING HANDLE IT
As an fan of MMOS or games in general with a strong community feeling to them....eg; strong "virtual escapes" our world is dying. Who the fuck is killing our dream for a virtual paradise where 'we' can reside in peace. There are offline worlds that are great like skyrim and other games that come close but they are just quick shills for the industry. I feel lost. Depressed and on the brink of collapse. The way my mind is wired I need a constant flow. How the fuck do I cope without said virtual bliss. Anyone please help. Need advice. How can I reside in peace until said new virtual words are reconstructed. :( I feel like i was born in the wrong point in time... :(
>community >stimulation >single player games do not offer those in the large grand scale that OP desires

Gonna take this bait.
XIV isn't teetering on the edge of collapse. It just held 3 (3) Fan Festivals ( think Blizzcon), one in one of the most expensive cities to hold events on the planet ( Las Vegas ), and they just dumped 36M USD into their new Expansion. It's arguably the only sub-based MMO currently on the market that is good. damnit I fell for the bait.

>hope >Half Life 3 those two shouldn't be in the same sentence

>Final Fantasy XIV (teetering on edge of collapse) I doubt it, the game has expansion coming up in a few months. youtube.com/watch?v=Jt1h1MinlLI
If it's the same shit as the first expansion though then I can see it collapsing.

Server emulators? I still play Project 1999 EQ.

Every Multiplayer based games die eventually. Stick with single player they never die.

Hop on my nigger, had a blast all night with BF2 and 2142. Servers fill up to 64 too.
Thanks guys. Great idea for Bf2 and 2142 btw. FFXIV is just so slow from its conception to the point that it is now, that I question its longevity. Its great as it is though I suppose. >I am aware Not the scope though which I desire. They are great though for what it is worth on a rainy day.
We can only hope my digital brothers.

Everything dies. You're going to die too, and it will sneak up on you. Yet here you are playing stupid fucking video games.
Jaxson Moore
that's just a Tragedy of being
be thankful that you had the chance to participate in it

>MMO's >good
pick 1

Everything else I've done has fucking sucked ass. I work so I can come home and play video games for a bit. If you find fulfillment elsewhere in life, good for you. I tried for years and never found it.
Jaxon Garcia
Hal 3 could be ALIVE if they released it on PC

The generation of people who grew up playing MMOs got jobs. They got real lives. Nobody has the kind of time required to play a MMO these days.

Yet us enlightened ones, thee whom manage to swim through the bullshit life has given us, are here in this thread. Foaming at the mouth for an escape from reality. I get free time in reality and its dull. Fuck..Correct. Except us few. ^

Yes Games die after a while This happens for every game Get used to it, accept it, and move onto something new
