Sup Forums is full of underage normalfags who unironically say that English dubs are better than the original audio. I guess they prefer listening to butchered characterization and awful casting. Even if you don't understand Japanese, the performance and the actors on their own are already a massive improvement with the original audio, but I guess you're still stuck with the shit English text.

The only problem I had when playing with Japanese is that there is some dialogue where there are just no subs. There mostly just 1 sentence and I can understand them because I'm a weeb but stuff like A2's taunt, there are no subs for.

I've actually watched so many chinese cartoons I could usually pick out what the subtitles changed at least. There's only a couple of lines that are really butchered, but there's a lot of the more subtle things that get lost in translation, like 2b getting jealous when 9s talks to other female androids.

And yes you do get to play as her in route C, but I wouldn't recommend rushing through, his sidequests in B add a lot to the game.
