Most of you guys are casuals

most of you guys are casuals

>Would spend 6-10 hours playing vidya a day
>Now I have weight issues
>No social life
>No life or working skills
>Still no job at age of 20
>B-but atleast im a hardcore gamer!

As opposed to what? What's the opposite of casual for you?

I don't even play video games

Said the dumb frogposter

>is fat
>has no social life
>no skills
>no job
>blames it on gayming
you could work out, talk with people and have a part-time job, while still enjoying vidya you know?
Telling you cause once too I blamed my shit on gaming

> implying/v actually plays videogames
Get the fuck off my board

Fuck off.

Sometimes I go outside and talk to girls.

see me on USFIV

you could have a smooth face like me if you didn't smoke

Even the mods on Sup Forums are casuals

You look like a fucking butterball turkey

I appreciate the words of wisdom user

I enjoy playing games casually. The only game I played seriously was team fortress 2 (lol)
Are roguelikes hardcore? I guess it doesn't really matter because I've yet to actually win one desu

But I have a full time job and a girlfriend, why would I want to be a neet

Fuck off mate I can beat Infinite Warfare I aint no casual.

If video games aren't your profession (god help you if it is), then you play casually.

How is this hard to understand?

Skateboarders who aren't pro are casual skaters, sure they might be pretty skilled and good but at the end of the day they aren't professionals. It's not their job to skate every day, just like it's not your job to play games every day.

Why the fuck do you feel the need to tag "hardcore" onto a hobby?
Is someone hardcore WWII plane model builder?
A hardcore basket weaver?
Hardcore ping pong player? Paddleball paddler?
A person must be a hardcore movie watcher/tv viewer if they watch something for 12 hours a day.
Hardcore fapper?

At the end of the day, vidya is a hobby.
It's entertainment, you pass the time with it. You may enjoy it differently than some people, but you're still a casual.

The opposite of pro is amateur, not casual
Casual is someone who doesn't invest into the hobby too hard, the opposite is hardcore, someone who is really invested in the hobby even if it's not a "professional" thing
Like someone who plays competitively, but not in a professional capacity for example

Point is, hobbies can be partaken into at different levels of intensity and dedication too

I always figured amateurs were people who wanted to make something more out of their hobby than just enjoyment.
