Its not ideal because they changed enough between 2033, LL and Redux to actually be noticeable. Just get a torrent for 2033.

Yeah, Redux removed a huge amount of effects, both sound and graphical wise.
Also ruined melee and trowing knives.
And the game is easier in general.
