Have we finally got it lads, is this the first example of vidya kino?

Have we finally got it lads, is this the first example of vidya kino?

Hahahaha, no.

I still didn't get past the tutorial.

It's a good example of overrated.

i just got my hands on this just past dessert

not played a bullet hell in years its fuckung good fun

is the first nieR worth the price?

I still didn't get past the new game screen on PC
This game is such kino that it has deemed that a mere plebian such as I should never get to play it

kill yourself automatababy
only the first nier is good

>is the first nieR worth the price?
If you like the story of automata, yes
aside from the soundtrack, everything else in nieR is pretty mediocre to terrible, especially compared to automata

>kino

Fpbp.
How can weebs have so shit taste?

The first game is better.

i did its after double arm robot crain thing get back on it user

Other way around

Story is better, music is equal

Both mediocre as games but hold up well enough

not even close

you waifu fags piss me off

No. It doesn't really do much that hadn't already been done before it by MGS2, the original Nier and even Undertale.

It is definitely "vidya kino" regardless though.

Taro is a guy who is more interested about what players feel like when finishing his games instead of what the games are actually about. Hes said in interviews that he really doesn't even care about gameplay or story, just more about the feeling side of things.

Thats exactly like Ken Levine saying that hes more interested in what goes around in peoples heads when they make choices instead of the actual choices themselves.
Its actually hilarious how many similarities Automata and Bioshock Infinite have

Both are overrated beyond measure, have pseudo-deep storylines with awkward melodrama and mediocre at best gameplay. Both are hailed as "furthering the medium" while both would rather show than have you play the events.

But all this is okay because dude highschool philosophy lmao

is the combat the same? is it as fast paced, i only just started automata so not fussed about story but it be nice for ps3 collection and i made mistake getting ps3 version mgr and im happy with the controls idoes nieR play anything like either atuomata or mgg

mgr*

>mash square
>kill the same generic robots over and over
>character with no personality but gets obsessed over because she lacks pants
amazing

it has bullet hell sections yeah?

>square
get out pleb

>he didn't use dark souls style controls
jesus, how bad can you be at video games?

Why do you need to change the controls for an already easy game?

Why would you make the game feel even more rehashed than it already is?
