Why are giant mythical birds so much cooler than dragons?

Why are giant mythical birds so much cooler than dragons?

Birdfags please leave.

I thought Ho-oh and Lugia were a bit overdesigned when I first saw them but now that I see the new shit out irght now these look like basic evolved pokemon

>Lugia overdesigned

His design is as simple as charizard, the fuck?

name a single mythical bird you know of that isn't a pokemon and isn't some kind of pheonix or roc

bearded vulture

>roc: legendary bird of prey
>name a single giant mythical bird you know that isn't a giant mythical bird

Skysnakes are stupid

...

Warba'ad, Ace Attorney

>*blocks your path*

Tengu, yatagarasu and quezlquatal or however you spell it

basalisk count?

>tfw I thought ho oh was a fearow evolution as a kid

Because nearly all dragons look the same. Birds are a lot more varied.

>Quetzalcoatl
>bird

Quetzalcoatl is a feathered serpent

quezlquatal was a snake who got wasted and fucked his sister.
Chimera.
Only one I can think of is the Banana bird from the dreamtime shit.

Because people don't go crazy and claim to be giant birds and then draw their birdselves fucking cars as much.
Also Ho-oh movie never.

Because they weren't The pinnacle of overdesign is on the legendary beasts, with Entei being one of the most overdesigned mons ever.

Garuda
Horus

wow that was hard.

....user?

Well shit me I stand corrected! Why now of all times though?

...

>Charizard
We want the nostalgiafag audience.
It's the ghost-gnome film not a Ho-oh film.

the fuck are the creatures under Pikachu and under Incineroar?

Owlbear?

ho ho is a stupid fucking name

they're called humans, user. they've been part of pokemon since gen 1.

...

>mythical

Because they couldn't manage to get it out last year as SM had to release first. SM marked 20 years of Pokemon and this one is the 20th movie, and both in a way are "anniversary" things.

>film that is an altered recap of the mc
>wow why does he have charizard
Eh.
For now Marshadow seems to have more of a supportive role.

How do you not know Lycanroc? Either way it's a Rock type werewolf.

Marshadow is a mythical Pokemon, a cowardly ghost/fighting type that hides in the shadow of people.

Speculation from some people say that Ash likes fighting so much because Marshadow has been lurking in his shadow all along.

>that godawful perspective
digital art was a mistake

you can't stop the 'shop.

Dragons are overdone, comparatively speaking in the video game field. You don't see many Phoenix or whatever compared to dragons.

Why are dragons such a meme?

saved.

spooky

...

I like dragon Pokémon, they can be pretty weird and some even make you question what the fuck is a dragon by GF's standards.

Pic unrelated?

>so much cooler than dragons?
Nah, they really aren't. Most mythical birds are just oversized real life birds with some extra feathers there to make them look prettier, hardly cooler or more creative than dragons, which have different interpretations but common features for each culture around the globe.

Lugia is pretty cool thogh.

seahorses are considered dragons in japanese language, as are certain kinds of lobsters.
