>touhou
You're a genuine shitter, OP
Man, truly Nier A Tomato is the gift that keeps on giving
Why would you expect final fantasy?
...
>literally says there is no auto save right as you start the game
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
well, FF with good and active combat instead of turn based, and crafting of some kind
...
No matter what settings i use im getting massave fucking lag. My pc aint great but its not toaster teir yet. I want to see some of that 2b ass but the game just stutters like hell
Are these people playing on Hard?
I find the tutorial on Normal very manageable.
Steam forums are filled with the absolute scrubbiest of scrubs, so I highly doubt it. I don't know how you fuck up in the tutorial so hard though, once you get past the duel saws it's smooth sailing.
Cinematic experiences, everyone. They make you unable to use your brain
So, nothing like final fantasy at all?
OP here
>Take it from me, you can easily spend 4 hours just trying to get to the first save point in Nier: Automata if you choose to play on Hard.

mfw there's guides SPECIFICALLY for the first fucking level/tutorial
what the FUCK did we get into? me and my friend got the game on a shared account and im watching him on steam stream play first, its already 3am for him though
th-the night is young i guess
Use FAR.
well its japs man what do i know
its preparing you for the reality of the rest of the game: doing the same thing over and over and over
The tutorial is unironically the hardest part of the game. Game becomes a lot easier after that. Also difficulties are pretty imbalanced, Normal is a cakewalk, but Hard and Very Hard make every attack one shot or two shot you
>Be op
>play game for less then 10 mins, not even past the intro
>Bitch on 4chin
its like im 10 again playing majoras mask
my connection is slower than my friends so i have the short straw, have to watch on stream while he plays so might as well shitpost
now its like bayonetta
is this the spore of JRPGs or something? like a bunch of game types all put together?
>FAR
What's FAR mean
its a shallow bayo with touhou added onto it and annoying hacking segments

To access to the depth buffer disable AA/AO.
Some other graphics stuff:
>Anti-aliasing is MSAA and introduces a weird outline on characters
>Ambient occlusion includes post-AA
>AA+AO=slightly worse pop-in

Freecam
HUD hide((also removes film grain in the bunker and letterboxing during cutscenes)
Timescale(for slow motion or time freeze)

Gives you control of the camera pod, not as good as the CE table but you can use your controller and teleport around by pressing X.

Yeah, I was there too once.
Either way, stick to it, don't play on hard unless you want to get your ass kicked and really know the game, have fun at the amusement park, and make sure to buy your operator some flowers.
Nier's basically a love letter to almost every video game genre.
interesting
look forward to playing it
WEW
thanks user my friend was having issues with the slowness as well, all that other stuff though....damn
will do senpai :^]
I liked the hacking
It did make the game really easy though
