Breath of the Wild

>Breath of the Wild
>Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
>ARMS
>Splatoon 2
>Super Mario Odyssey
>Xenoblade Chronicles 2

Has any console ever had a better launch year lineup?

I mean it'd be pretty cool if there were any actually in stock.
I could afford to buy the marked up ones, but I'll be damned if I support scalpers.

The Gamecube too, it had Luigi, Waverace, and Melee. Also, Monkey Ball, and Billy Hatchet.

Nope.

That's actually pretty fucking solid. I did not know that GTA3 and FFX were launch year titles.

The SNES had an incredible launch window.

I can't recall but switch is one of the best

This is the GOAT lineup but it's not first eyear

Splatoon 2 is coming to PC though.

Analyze pixel density if you want, this is 100% legit.

virtual console when

i just want my fucking portable super mario 64

not that DS shit

hi

Like user said, not first year. The switch is way better than the Dreamcast Port City and year of nothing that was the PS2 launch.

wiiu game

just 3 games for 12 moths best launch year ever

>none of these are ports like half of the Switches first year
>yet people still claim Switch has the best launch lineup
Really makes you think...

A lot of those games flopped.

Import from EU if price is not an issue.

The SNES probably.

But yeah, Switch has the best lineup we've seen in a long time.

Hopefully they can keep this going beyond 2017

Even PSVita had a better lineup than Switch.

Half the games announced aren't coming out until 2018. It should be fine. I didn't expect this kind of result from what it did get.

pokemon core rpg
metroid prime 4
animal crossing
smash brothers ultra deluxe
F-Zero Stories
The Donkey Kong Anthology

We'll be alright

The Switch has no games.

Coming from someone who owns one, I still firmly believe that the switch has no games.
Breath of the wild is still the only game I own for it, because it is the only one I have wanted.

The console needs more deep adventure games and less match based games.

PS4.

>console needs more deep adventure games
Should have bought a PS4, not even shitposting. That's about all the system has.

Why god, I just want to buy. why must things be like this.

It is the first year, PS2 launched in the west in October of 2000. By Holiday 2001, most of those were already out.

I have a PC, and a switch, no real need for the PS4. I wanted to play BotW, as well as future pokemon, and monster hunter

>pokemon core rpg
They said 2 years away
>metroid prime 4
Same
>animal crossing
Hasn't even been announced
>smash brothers ultra deluxe
It'll be a good 4 years before a new Smash is ever announced, Smash 4 just came out a couple years ago, and the DLC kept going until last year.
>F-Zero Stories
>The Donkey Kong Anthology
These two are fantasy

Real talk, first year sounds ok, but 2nd year seems to really dry up fast. If you're not into Kirby or Yoshi, you're SOL.

I think it has a good lineup. Hopefully they keep doing this
