Leave survival horror to me

Leave survival horror to me

Why'd they change Seb's VA :(

it will just be ok like the last and stop with the fucking memes fag.

Sebastian's previous VA was some TV show actor known for AMC's Hell on wheels or some shit. He probably cost too much for bethesda along with the VA for Kidman Jennifer Carpenter so they settled for actors you usually see in vidya.

Just accept it. TEW 2 will be the savior of the genre.

There could be a number of reasons. The most common issues are scheduling, budget, union related, or contract issues.

who gave a shit about the protag. he was as generic as he could be and also irrelevant to the retarded story

is he like, covered in cum? what's going on here?

do people think this game was good?
it was strongly mediocre, and mostly just competent
it was extremely okay

>dude green goo
who the fuck signed off on that shit?

Is Mikami working on this one?

I happen the think the game was outstandingly, incredibly, monumentally, supremely average

a STRONG 6/10

He's the executive producer. The guy that did the Kidman DLCs from the first game is directing it.

Kid, VA isn't only what they've changed

>Why'd they change Seb's VA :(
Judging by when the audio recording must have took he is probably a member of SAG-AFTRA, the biggest television and voice actor union.

They had a strike for a while now where they want to get paid for each copy sold of a game, since apparently 200$ per hour they got as a minimum now isnt enough, publisher like Bethesda told them to fuck off.
So basically , money.

Anyone else play the first one blind not watching a single trailer either and enjoyed the fuck out of it? Was disappointed to go and talk to it about mt friends after and they already dismissed it without even playing it themselves. Beside those two chapters or so with alot of sunlight the game pretty enjoyable

why though?

he costs too much

It's really good. Something you appreciate once you've come back to it and give it another chance. The launch was rough.

I got it the black Friday after its release for thirty bucks. Unironically bought a WII U the same day. The game had spooky stuff, some cheap predictable jump scares, but spooky

How's the dlc? Is it required to play it to understand the story of the sequel?

I never played the first one, how was it?

The Kidman DLC's are pretty important to understanding the story. The Keeper DLC is non-canon.

Is Nolan North doing the VA? That literately looks like Nolan, I'm talking 1:1.

That's suppose to show a younger cleaned up Sebastian.his gameplay model looks the same.

Hard to give a confident answer to this question considering people either end up hating the game or loving it. I'm one of the latter. 100%'d it and I still go back for the occasional playthrough.

They're alright - entirely different mechanics from the main game, focused on stealth mainly. There is nothing wholly surprising in the DLC, after you understand Kidman's deal within the main game.

So I guess Jackie Earle Haley isn't playing Ruvik anymore either.

No homo but Anson is one handsome fucker.

Well it sure doesn't look any younger to me.

Is it going to explain the clusterfuck story from the first one?

The trailer is only 1 minute long and I'm already sick of the taunting possessed girl trope, can't wait for 12 hours of nothing but MUH DAUGHTER, MUH FAMILY., MUH DEPRESSION.

Fuck of with all of this, why didn't Mikami direct the sequel instead of that no-talent western hack?

It is great, however, it really depends on how much you like video games as a video game. If you're looking for a very focused coherent story, set pieces, and likable characters, you'll hate this game

The game is all over the fucking place which ends up just feeling like a checklist of horror tropes down to locations and enemies. This game never takes a break even for itself. Not to mention its changes gameplay a lot from stealth to action and just end up being a jack of all trades and a master of none.

You'll hate it or love it.

Yea, I must admit. I don't like the daughter shit being the main focus considering Sebastian's past was such a footnote in the first game.

Considering the nature of STEM I was surprised they didn't try to do more with Seb's past in the first one.

>Leave survival horror to me
>The Evil Within

:3 kawaii desu~

Me too. I hadn't enjoyed a game like this since re4. Bought it because I had nothing to play, expecting it to be shit. Only complaint was the frame rate was a mess on launch.

I want to replay it but my back log is huge. I don't want to use my ps4 and i don't want to buy a second copy for pc.

>Change every voice actor from the previous game

Hoo boy, off to a good start. This is going to be even worse than the first one, isn't it?

First part was a fucking mess, the second won't be better.

I quite enjoyed the first game. This will be my Halloween game

It hurts. I hate it when that shit happens. It's like dealing with entirely different characters.
