I'm sorry Sup Forums, this guy is a massive roadblock for me and I don't feel like dying another 15 times to get past him. Is it worth it to keep trying?
I'm sorry Sup Forums, this guy is a massive roadblock for me and I don't feel like...
A lot of people have trouble with that for some reason.
Now this was a real challenge.
people have trouble with dps meters
He did too much damage and attacked too fast
This fucker drove me crazy
These guys killed me the first time i found them, I ended up coming back later with an upgraded nail and had no problems. Try exploring another area for now
That was one mean cunt
Hollow knight isnt worth playing anyways so no
You can do him very late game if you need to. If you can't do it with upgrades, I'm sorry user, but you might not make it.
but you don't need to defeat him to get to the rest of the game, right? He's not a progression blocker?
Break the candelabra, also be more aggressive than defensive and use the whole room to dodge if you have to (use a lot of wall jumps). Try to use a lot of spells especially when both Watchers are on the same side.
I literally just killed them. Had to upgrade my nail and learn how to cheese them from the air.
He's pretty easy once you realise his laser angles. The only boss I've had any sort of trouble with so far is the fat flying bastard with the two forms but once I figured out how to jump right he became pretty easy too.
Only when you need a final dreamer. You can do the other two first.
I know this is a meme at this point, but THIS fucker killed me the most.
sorry, THIS guy
There's a hidden room on the top left just before entering the WKs room, get there and you'll find the hook of a candelabra, break it and it'll make the fight easier by removing one of them.
Use Defender's Crest and the fight is pretty much the same as Lost Kin, albeit slightly faster.
Who? Is this the dude in the sanctum? I don't remember this dude giving me any trouble.
God that little shit took me hours to beat. I didn't even feel he was that hard but his little fucking squid kids would always fuck me up, and get me out of the rhythm. Get one shot on him, then dodge him while killing the goopers like 8 time before you get another opening.
Wait I'm retarded, Lost Kin is the dream version, disregard that I suck cocks.
Killed that boss on my first try.
I upgraded my nail and bounced off their head.
Bad enough in my first regular run, but even worse when going for the speedrun achievements.
I've tried to do it with just one nail upgrade, and I'm just not gud enough.
Why was this place so ungodly hard? Don't get me wrong, it fucked me, and I still loved it. It just felt like such a massive difficulty spike.
Super meat boy rooms, was fucking bullshit.
It's really fucking hard the first time because it's all timing that you know shit about
It get surprisingly easy when you replay it
Use the Hiveblood charm and you don't have to worry about dying.
Use the hive health charm.
It's meant to be post-game content that is similar in design to super meat boy. You don't have to do it to get the normal ending.
So has team Cherry started to talk about the DLC? Hope they don't reuse all of the old levels, please have it in a complete new landmass even. Probably a jungle or desert to use more buggies, or maybe even the ocean in account for the disgusting things living in it that'd make you wanna poison the water.
How far did you guys get on the 2 new bosses?
grub song + soul catcher + spore shroom + quick focus
i've used spore shroom to fart most bosses to death with zero problems. if you have defenders crest it becomes even easier. just dodge, sneak in a few hits and pop farts like a madman.
When in doubt, facetank it. Just put on all the lifeblood charms, maybe the one that extends iframes too, and dps race it.
The key to Lost Kin is to be super aggressive. He is staggered after just a few hits, so just wail on him and try to dodge as many of his attacks as you can.
You need to upgrade your nail before you fight him and you need to be very aggressive. Took me like 20 deaths until I realized that.
Oddly for him I had far better luck rushing him to death rather than attempting to avoid getting hurt and playing carefully.
He was fine, but his Dream version was definitely a bitch to take down.
Hell all the Dreamworld battles were worse than even Radiance. Fuck that Soul Tyrant warp-spamming.
We mean the second boss fight with him user, you did attack is corpse with the Dream Nail, right?
I had no trouble with any of the dream bosses and gave up after days of trying to beat The Radiance.
You can bruteforce your way with Joni blessing, and the thing that makes your invincibility last longer, also fragile strength if you have the space
Are the new bosses worth it?
That's how you beat 80% of the bosses after you get quickslash, including Radiance.
