I realized it only now, but STALKER really has nice AI. I mean yes, entire camp gets automatically alerted when one person spots you, but in combat it's really not bad at all. Enemies try to approach you in logical ways, avoid paths you're trying to cover, run around, use covers, and all of that in non-scripted, free world enviroment.
