"In App Purchases"
Another single player game plagued by greed. It to the trash it goes.

Go into detail.

Source?
Even if it's true I don't really care, if you can still play the game normally without having to buy those why bother?

>white day
no thank you, im not a fucking nazzi

>mfw they changed the sound the floating head ghost makes while it approaches you

No information on what they are, could be stupid p2-progress shit or just cosmetics. Either way cosmetic shit should of been included in the initial purchase.

I really hope they fix the clunky chase scenes, like holy shit you need to be a legit high skill gook in order to solve the damn clock puzzle while that guy is chasing you constantly

how the fuck are they playing it, it's still locked on steam

What would happen if I stuck my dick inside of her mouth?

review copy?

It released on iOS a while ago.

I played the original and while it had some good points it was mostly really annoying. Didnt even finish it. not that good, why are you hyping it now?

> Steam cards

Ok, I'll buy it.

I hope you can choose between the english VA and the original one, it's easier to think the woice acting is good when you don't understand what they are saying.

Pirating this

Will it be VR ready? If not idgaf.

>idgaf

What a disgusting racist name. Why not make it black day, or yellow day, or brown day? Why white day?

Yeah the original sound was better:

>Aren't you survival horror fags happy about this game coming out this month?

Of course, we already have Darkwood and >Observer_ that game out this month though. Can only get through these so fast.

Good month for horror, can't wait for Visage later this year.

What day is white day?

How's >Observer? Is it any good?

>White Day

Between the three, if I can only get one, what should I get for spooktober? I already have a bunch of gothy comics on the way, but I need more.

Not bad, think SOMA with less running and hiding. I wouldn't say it's on par with it though. But a decent game.

Hard to say since I'm only partway into Darkwood and have only played the old White Day version.

White Day was pretty good back then though. Really enjoying Darkwood, each day that passes in the game I keep telling myself I'm going to stop but then I do another day.

Guess it depends on what kind of horror games you like since they're all very different.

I thought the PS4 release was pushed up with the Steam release today? It's not showing in the store at all, not even a preorder page.

>this month
Isn't this out Today? On Steam and PS4 (USians only, EU got 25th)

>think SOMA with less running and hiding.
There was practicly no hiding in SOMA, and if you don't hide or run what do you actually do in the game?

its a walking simulator that's more concerned with trying to give you an epilepsy attack than telling any sort of story

>It's not showing in the store at all, not even a preorder page.
Pre orders might not exist for that. What about time zones? At what time exactly NA PSN updates?

This weeks sale hasn't fully updated yet so maybe in around 2 hours the store will fully update and it'll appear?

Not sure if your weebness is lacking or just bait.
On the off chance it's the first one, white day happens a month later after valentine and men return the favor to females this time.

Hopefully, impatient Europoor here, tried to log in into my US account several times throughout the day without results so far.

it's Layers of Fear in Space basically

so complete P.T. ripoff in space ?

Might get it physical on PS4 for ~$30, but I really gonna have to wait for opinions, the original wasn't that great and I don't trust mobile ports at all

Thanks, Darkwood looks most appealing, partly because I'm getting a Sunless Sea vibe from the top down aspect even though they're nothing alike. And I still have that fucking alone in the dark remake in my steam inventory from a few years back.

>Alone in the Dark remake
wait that's a thing?

Sorry, not remake. The reboot. The one where you have to blink. Though I think they are remaking the original, aren't they?

they just bonus costumes..

>White Day
Never heard of it, care to give me a quick rundown?

Shitty ones by the look of it.

any pic?

The Blazblue costumes? They're on the steam page.

Yes, and?

I thought it was great. Exceptional atmosphere and an interesting story. The game has pretty good world-building when you consider you're just in an apartment complex.

It has similar scares to Layers of Fear but also has a lot more interactivity

> 5.5 / 10 - IGN Italy

That translation though

Is it even remotely anything like DP?

>IGN Italy

What is DP?
Is this anything like CP?

Deadly Premonition, what else.

> IGN
>IGN Italy
Nah.

>Is it even remotely anything like DP?
Do a south korean school looks anything like Twin Peaks to you?

>open world, city exploration on foot or by car
>stuck in school hunted by ghosts
gee i wonder

I wasn't the one who asked the question, was just pointing out that "DP" on a horror thread can refer only to that, as far as I know.

spooky bump

Does it still have the multiplayer?

>tfw can't stand horror at all

Is it a horror game about spooky yandere who went yandere because they didn't get any gift on White Day?

>can't adjust the graphics

bravo korea

dead space

Nah, it's about a school becoming a complete hellish nightmare on the night of Whiteday and the students try to survive it.

enemies are a ghost girl who appears when you're in darkness too long, and a deranged janitor who sees you if it's too bright. you have to avoid him while making occasional trips into bright spots, it's pretty tense.

Steam page says
>Cheaters Never Prosper: This school’s wise to those who want to take shortcuts! Puzzle solutions change every time, so pack away all thoughts of skipping the scary bits with a guide
How is this executed in the game? Are the key items in random places or what?

>no mouse support in the menus
>Can't change anyhting about the graphics

boy

>DP
>Dead Space
It's better if you start developing a Dead Pace game so you can say that it was just a typo.

Sounds pretty cool.

If you guys don’t know italian reviewers are the best around, also they get many first looks at games.

I'm retarded

it just concerns anything with a code or password.
No key items in random places

It's still IGN though

fuck you fucking shitheads. leave obscure games alone. everything that you touch dies.

I remember making a Whiteday thread in 2009 though, and what do you know, it got a remake

Damn those are some terrible aesthetics, fucking dropped.

Item locations are static but puzzle solutions are randomized to not just playthrough but to your save meaning if your save is before you encounter the puzzle and say you die before saving after it'll have a new random solution. So while you can look up a guide or a playthrough to find the logic of a puzzle you can't use it to find the solution, you'd still need to solve it.

The best way I can describe the remake specifically as it's a different beast than the original is it's a fairly standard first person horror where someone chases you around, there's a few hostile ghosts and there's a bunch of ghost bosses but very little in between unless you go out of your way to find it wrapped around a standard Asian horror plot. Throughout the game though you'll find notes or hints to the existence of other ghosts, some hostile or not and while some of these you can organically find most are obscure and require you to mimic their school legend. This is where the meats and potatoes comes in and without it the game frankly ranges from mediocre to bad.

okay, but is the remake better or worse than the original?

It's a shame they opted not to have the planned multiplayer despite remaking it.
It's not that great a loss I guess, Dead By Daylight and Friday The 13th exist now, so WhiteDay wouldn't be as revolutionary as it would have had they done it in 2005

What was so special about White Day's multiplayer?

It would have been the first multiplayer horror game where a bunch of survivors face off against player controlled monsters and try to survive.
