Is this the Xbox thread? Good. Then I don't need to make one. I plan on scooping up some OG Xbox games while they're still dirt cheap on the off chance any of them become backwards compatible in the future so I don't have to spend $50 later. Also considering buying an OG Xbox for $80 or so in case the games I grab never get compatibility, but I'm on the fence about it. Advice, faggots?

It might be better to just find a modded xbox with all the games you want installed on it. If not then just try to find any OG xbox with the games as cheap as possible since you won't have everything on the new BC thing they're doing.

Yes to the first part, but not so much the second. I have a PC and a PS4 for actual gaymen, which takes money blacks don't have. My Xbone exists purely for exclusives, which is about to include OG Xbox.

i have about 30 games on 360 and only four of them are backwards compatible. and one of those games has an emulation problem that causes it to lose connections mid-game if im connected to someone on a genuine 360 version.
it's kind of shitty. backwards compatibility gets lauded by no one but normal fags. if all you own are the flagship xbox games like halo and gears and shit, then you're all good. but if you have good taste in games, most of the stuff isn't backwards compatible. and NO games from other regions are backwards compatible. super disappointing.
