How the fuck is DRv3 $60 and 26gigs?

How the fuck is DRv3 $60 and 26gigs?

because PS4

>$60

I thought you were trolling

Sweet jesus

V3 has got, like, months worth of bonus content, possibly years

23gb of extra despair?

stay mad

This. Why would NISA sell it at a lower price?

>halabalaha
wtf are you doing?

wtf how

Poorly optimzed ports

Shoulda bought a vita

sony takes 70% profits if you release on console, steam only 30%

Baiting for dolphin porn what else

.....Such as?

>Implying the PC and PS4 versions are the ports
>Implying the Vita version is flawless

>wtf how

living in 3rd world country

>Open inspect element
>Change text

The school mode obviously, a board game mode that has all of the characters from DR1, DR2, DR3, and DRV3 where every character has multiple unique interactions with each other, and a Final Fantasy style RPG where you create a party of 4 using all the characters from DR1, DR2, DR3, and DRV3

What does that have to do with anything?
Multiplats typically cost the same as their console counterpart.

No vn is worth $60.

Well, its not 2005 anymore, who the fuck on pc would complain for such low space size?

lol no

people who dont have access to good internet (me)

Switch isp, even on my 3rd world country 20mbps is the minimum, hell even on less just leaving the pc overnight would download that in a day

Jeez that's expensive. Good thing I don't have time to play the game anytime soon so I can probably wait til it goes on a sale.

just become a russian, you will get it for 18$

I'm like 100km from the border of Russia, but I'm on the wrong side. I don't know if they appreciate border hoppers like Americans.

>Saudi Riyal
i guess im racist because i thought those had no way to reach gaming

>Multiplats typically cost the same as their console counterpart.
No they don't. For the big AAA publishers like EA/Ubisoft/Activision it's very common but many other publishers sell games for less at launch on PC. Just in recent memory Overwatch was $40 at launch, Tekken 7 was $50, it's also common to see indie games especially those that started on PC cost more at launch on consoles unless digital release only. Physical releases cost a lot of extra overhead and they aren't required on PC anymore so many developers forgo them completely and sell for cheaper.

Why do you think publishers can get away with such ridiculous sales on PC and earlier while almost always selling less than console? The profit margins are higher per copy sold, less copies are needed to turn a profit.

The preorder for Ys VIII is $60 on steam, just like the ps4 version. NISA is know for doing shit like this. They can get away with it because dumbasses still buy it at full price.

>almost always selling less than console
Nice meme. This isn't true for weebshit. It's only true for Blizzard titles and games like D:OS.

NISA isn't publishing Danganronpa on PC. Though I wouldn't be surprised if their publisher deal requires price parity.

so how likely are we to import the steam demo save data to the pirated version of the game for the bonus savefiles?

I would've bought it if it was €40 but €60 is too fucking much, especially for a VN. Looks like it's gonna be a day 1 pirate

how do i change my region?

It's essentially 67 dollars for GB. I have a fair amount of disposable income, but I'm not going to pay almost 70 dollars for a fucking visual novel. The way Japan looks are the west and the PC industry I have to think that they have no idea what's going on, terrible ports, absurd pricing and insane streaming restrictions that only hurt THEM.

Danganronpa is hardly a visual novel.

It's hardly a AAA game either.

FIFTY BRITISH POUNDS
fuck that

That doesn't matter because of consoles. All console games must cost 60 dollars, unless they are digital. If PC version was cheaper, nobody would buy console version.

I got the vita version pre-ordered

Question though is the vita version compatible with PS TV?

Whats the major differences between the Vita and PS4 Versions? I know the PS4 version comes with an artbook at launch, anywhere I can look at it?.

That's simply not the case though.

I'd recommend you not buy it on Vita, I imagine it's not optimised for the Vita at all.

Get it for free user, just torrent it and stop being a cuck

Try to snag it for that sweet 20% from Amazon or Best Buy

That's what I'm doing.

Correction, it's free and 26gigs.

>Just released
Does it release earlier in other countries? US just says it's coming out on the 26th

this is why game devs don't like porting to PC

I expected $30 at most but this wtf? Time to torrent, thx for nothing spike cucksoft.

If they didn't like it, they wouldn't be doing it.

Hope and Despair don't come cheap, user

The only way to truly feel hope is to experience the despair of losing hard drive space and 60 burgerbux

Komaru turning into the successor would had been so rad, what a waste

26gigs? damnit i really wanted get on pc but i have slow download speeds so ill just pre-download on ps4

I could hardly imagine the despair
Would've been a fun twist
We've could've had Makoto try to bring her back. Imagine the tension

They do though, but only good games are worth purchasing

IT'S NOT FAIR.

It's still the 26

Wouldn't it be easier if you got a physical copy, or are you just going to download it in sleep mode?

>"masterrace" got cucked into paying $60 for a VN
Feels good to own a Vita.

Because the other games were ports of PSP/Vita titles and were priced accordingly.

V3 is a dual release between Vita, PC and home consoles. Judging from the performance issues on Vita, it would make sense that the home versions were the lead platforms.

you know you can download the game before the release date then play it when its out at midnight

Too bad about that audio quality

You can do that on Steam too.

>what are headphones

I think the audio is still compressed on Vita, anonymous

no you cant

Second lowest price is Russia. I have complicated feelings about this...

...

It got patched already.

Unfortunately, I will be pirating this one. Maybe I'll buy it on sale, but 60 Eu is a lot for a VN that I'll play through once.

Vitabros always win baby

It does have a lot of post-game content. That said, if you're still interested in the game once you've seen the ending remains to be seen.

weebs btfo

>Multiplats typically cost the same as their console counterpart.
Oh bless you sweet child

inb4 they hiked the price to cover the expenses for adding Denuvo

ah. thank you

well it's obviously discounted on the Vita cause it ain't HD and who the fuck wants to get a Vita unless weeaboo VNs are all you play

How much is the Vita version

>unless weeaboo VNs are all you play
Please take a second to recall what website you're currently on

Okay, have you done so? Do you see the error in your post?

>BRAND NEW GAME WITH A SIMULTANEOUS RELEASE IS FULL PRICE

>BEING SHOCKED

>visual novel is pretending to be a AAA game
>overprices it by 20 dollars
>being shocked that others are shocked

$40

ISPs are a monopoly if you don't live in a big city in the U.S.

I pay $45 a month for a 15 meg connection.

NISA are jews.

Vita wins again baby

>visual novel is pretending to be a AAA game
AA games are released by this much too

>average novel costs 10-15 bucks and will take about a day to get through
>this is a 30-50 hour long interactive story with music and professional voice acting
>also contains a board game AND an rpg complete with fanservice for the entire series
>could easily last more than a hundred hours all told
>"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA A VN COSTS MONEY WHAT THE FUCK DAY ONE PIRATE XDXDXD"
Expecting PShits to pay for anything is a total waste of time, my man.

>£50
Is this karma for torrenting the anime?

Especially when most of those other VN's are just old ports

>60 dollars
Guess my duel masters boosters are gonna wait a week then

>and a Final Fantasy style RPG where you create a party of 4 using all the characters from DR1, DR2, DR3, and DRV3
Elaborate

>put in-game currency into gacha to get character cards
>use character cards to play board game to power them up
>use powered up cards in simple jrpg gameplay to get more money to pump into the gacha
>characters from all of DR are featured

I finished the demo, can I uninstall it and the full game will still recognize my save file or do I have to keep the demo installed?

Not sure, but it's best to be on the safe side and keep it until the full game.

Yeah. Sup Forums doesn't play video games. They watch their favorite e-celebrities play them for them and tell them what to think, so they can post screencaps of their twitter threads and go 'Well, was he right?'. in their threads.

A question for those played it - Is it as good as the first two? They were some of the most fun games I played last year but I don't know if it's worth shelling out 60 bucks or not

Day 1 pirate and I'll buy it on PC when the price is lover than Vita release price.

He's wrong, it's just DR1, DR2 and DRV3, it's your typical dungeon crawler, people who cap at the highest luck are the most broken because of critical and the DR3 characters are only in the board game.

Treat it as its own thing and it's enjoyable. Is it 60 bucks enjoyable? That's a hard sell. Personally I'd wait for a sale, but by that time you're likely to have been spoiled.

I already know the first chapter twist but that's it. If the game can provide what the past games have (fun story full of tense moments and cool twists, great soundtrack and a fun cast of characters), then I'm probably gonna grab it on release.

Its the biggest budget Danganronpa game and the first time a Danganronpa game is getting released on a non-handheld platform that isn't just a late port.

Well you will obviously be spoiled by then and won't have to play it

Honestly $60 is a bad business decision, they would get more sales and more money overall at $40. PC fans of DR are already used to the lower prices and seeing this at $60 might make them hesitate and just wait for a sale.

Cool.
All I can suggest is enjoy it for the journey, not the ending. You'll have your own opinion on the ending but by and large the actual cases are handled better than the previous games.
