Why do PCbros spend $600 just to emulate 1 (one) game that you can buy and play for half the price of your rig?

Why do PCbros spend $600 just to emulate 1 (one) game that you can buy and play for half the price of your rig?

Because $600 is nothing to me.

Because PCbros already have that rig.

Please please please no one take the bait.
Can you give me "nothing," user?

>Why do PCbros spend $600 just to emulate 1 (one) game that you can buy and play for half the price of your rig?
Are you really this fucking stupid to actually believe this?

Fuck me that looks like shit. And is the frame rate really that bad on cemu?

He's a troll with obvious bait, please don't make this another 400 reply thread.

>PC cucks literally mod in black people into their games

Yup. But PCbros like to pretend it's great to wind up Nintenfags. Truth is, it runs like shit.

>gta nibba
>pc redditrace shield
should be included in the GOTY edition

I don't have to spend shit on the rig I already have.

I get to play BOTW for free without having to buy yet another shitbox that I don't need.

some people just don't really care skin color and stuff believe it or not

Why would anyone waste their time on a cheap ass build to emulate a single game? Oh wait, this is just console mentality.

Because you can lots of games.

it actually runs fine on worthless decade old dual core

>Spend $2000 on a PC
>Still can't out perform $300 hardware

Because you can play more than 1 game.

>>Fuck me that looks like shit
>tick the 4k option
>???

a $330 switch + $70controller + $60 game > Intel Core i7-7700K

>finish the said game on pc
>continue your gaming life
>finish on the switch
>throw the switch into the trashcan

Because I would rather pay $600 or more for a fully functional and useful PC than with a console that has zero worthwhile games.

>Play botw on emulator
>Move onto tons of other games including multiplats that will never run on the Switch
I really hope no one would be stupid enough to build a PC specifically for BotW.

You don't even need the Pro Controller to enjoy the game. Plus I can take the Switch anywhere, whereas you're stuck in a corner with the PC.

>muh portability

but what do you do when you've finished botw? personally I use my computational hardware to do work and make money. does the switch run AutoCAD? :^)

Shut up, dindu, we do.

CJ is different.

>Denuvo

>we
who's "we"
>inb4 kangs

lel this. I beat that shit in late may with Cemu and it was a pretty average zelda besides the absolute freedom you get.
One of the most non-existent plots in the entire series, enemy variety is severely lacking and the 4 beast dungeons are embarrassingly short.

If they fine tune the next game in the series with the same mechanics and a more tight but expansive openworld it will be a great zelda but this shit was GTAIV levels of tech demo.

Because a PC is much more useful than a console.
Not only can you play pretty much any console game, you can also play PC-exclusive games, make your own games, make other kinds of software, run other kinds of software, draw, animate, write, compose and/or record music, record video and audio, do homework, perform white collar labor for your place of employment, post on Sup Forums, watch porn, access other websites, create websites, run a server, view or play arbitrary media from files, personalize your GUI, and use scripts and the command line to automate ANY of your aforementioned everyday computational needs.

I was with you until you called GTAIV a tech demo. just because there aren't a trillion shitty neon outfits to spend real life money on doesn't mean it's not a complete well featured game.

You need a lot more than $600 to emulate botw

I mean in the presentation and showing off of mechanics since. I really like GTAIV but its jank because of all of the shit going on in it.

None of the Reddit tourists are smart enough to recognize bait

>that you can buy and play for half the price of your rig
Let's see, Nintenbrodickgobbler:

This game console was released in 2017 and has:

No internet browser

No multiplatform support

No media apps

No online voice chat

No dedicated servers

No virtual console

No 1080p 60fps games

No good online games

No ability to interact with other players in a game

No exclusives

>"only" $40 less than a PS4 Pro

>nintendo babies this butt mangled because of the emulator

Oh wow this shit is hilarious.
How are you fuckers surprised by this?
Every Nintendo system gets emulated at some point, this was to be expected.

>No internet browser

Wait what? The Switch doesnt have internet browser??
Why? Even the WiiU and 3DS had.
Does it AT LEAST have a friend chat system yet?
It really bothered me that I couldnt just open chat with my online friends on 3DS. Dunno if the WiiU had one.

the frame rate is worse on the switch

I dont know, is BoTW good ? Look shit and wasting time to play it

So is BotW fully 100% playable now on emulator? I dont wanna start playing and discovering some game ending glitch. Pls respond

It has been for months.

>Does it AT LEAST have a friend chat system yet?

Stop lying

the framerate on the switch is locked 30 post patch.

...

Oh shit i didnt know. I saw recently the 60fps thing. Does 60 works also good? i Have an i5 and a GTX780

Not unless you have a $4000 pc.

Is this already 100% playeable without a monster PC?

What processor and Gpu if it is.

How hard is it to configure the emulator and run at 60 fps?
I hate emulators ecause i always spend more time configuring the damn thing then playing.

I can barely run botw at 720p with a gtx770. Maybe your 780 can pull off 900p.

depends on what you call playable.
Is 25fps 720p playable for you (20fps in towns).
And thats with a cpu overclocked to 4.7ghz.

>No 1080p 60fps games

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, ARMS, Splatoon 2, and Mario/Rabbids all run 1080p 60fps docked. That's more than you can say about most PS4/Xbone exclusives, and even emulated PC games.

is thi b8? a pc can only cost 4k if you put like 3 TitanX in it

720p is fine if it will run at 60fps

Use fencehack and 2x speed in cheat engine.

high clocked single threaded performance is the key to emulating BoTW correctly, also 8GB RAM helps

because people kept using it to hack their consoles

GPU has fuck all to do with performance.

So this is why amd is shit at emulation?

>also 8GB RAM helps
8gb isn't even enough. you will experience shader compilation crashes unless you close other processes with only 8gb

I spent 2000 dollars so I could play hundreds of vidya, emulate hundreds more, watch films, listen to music, do some photoshop/audio production, browse the internet, have two screens etc.

Honestly one of the better investments of my life.

he didnt read the instructions before to get it working on his system, why would he start now? Sup Forums makes me laugh because 90% of the emulator detractors have 0 ability to use google and the wiki for the emulator in question.

>Try every shader cache
>Game is still stuttering and locking up like the shader cache isn't there whenever I start the game (IE if I shoot a bomb arrow or knock an enemy ragdoll the game locks up like if you didn't have any shader cache's for that already, and then every future ragdolls and explosion runs mostly fine.
>Definitely loads the shader cache when I start the game
Absolute fucking suffering

lads just wait a few more month till they optimize it and then play

>dynamic resolution of YEARS old last gen PORTS and Unity engine indie trash
>docked

Yeah but that's minor compared to playing a game at 30 fps or less like in the Switch

Read my post correctly.

Are you really saying that the game is emulated perfectly without any issue right now?

Its currently pretty playable if you have a decent PC senpai.
Before you needed a i7 I think but my i5 is running it pretty well. Also some guy came up with a plugin that helps the FPS so I get like 30FPS in the open map and stable 60FPS inside shrines/dungeons.

The main problem is that the game stutters everytime something new shows up like its loading new shaders or whatever, but after that it goes back to running fine.

because we use it for more than one game

why do Switchbots buy a 300 dollar console with two decent games out instead of a 600 dollar computer to play a bunch of games already out plus those?

I wish BotW was fun. I wonder what Itsuno is working on.

because we can use that $600 dollar machine to play tens of thousands of other games too

unlike your shitty little toy that has only one game anyone gives a shit about

>tens of thousands of other games

LIKE. FUCKING. WHAT?

>35 years of PC vidya
>and most of the console games released in that time
>even funky old flash games etc.

???

its your hard drive speed OR ram

either its loading slowly because you didnt install on an SSD or your RAM ran out of space and it has to delete old stuff to load new stuff, doubling workload

Yeah sure let's ignore the dips in Kakariko.

Holy hell. I hope we get a decent modding scene. Just think
>Modded overworld with actual lore or depth
>Dungeons not designed for 6 year olds that take longer than 10 minutes to complete

Oh my god it's C-Wizzle!

BotW is literally better than every game on steam combined.

I wipe my ass with $600.

Modders won't be able to fix the combat or the puzzles.

>black
>people

>Shorten the window for flurry rushes
>Redesign combat shrines
There. Its fixed

Kek no it isn't. Stop lying. The switch frame rate was patched in the first few weeks. Its a solid 30fps apart from one location where it dips.

Because we can play other games on the PC usually at better graphics and performance.
This one is just a bonus.

No one is retarded enough to buy a 1000$ PC for breath of the wild.
Its more like a bonus for spending 1000$ on a PC.

Absolutely assblasted by Nintendo.

More like remove flurry rush. Maybe it's just me but that shit pissed me off, slowing my fucking game down for what is essentially a QTE during EVERY SINGLE ENCOUNTER. Like your engine already can't handle 4+ enemies or one moblin on Death Mountain before the disc explodes, and now you want a slow-mo quicktime event, instakill reward for doing nothing but reading a move with an 8 second telegraph? Fuck off Aonuma, what the hell.
Besides the combat input and reaction times being baby-tier, unless modders somehow add in more enemies or give them movesets or fix their telegraph times, then that shit ain't gonna cut it.

tl;dr Maybe Nintendo could hire some people who know how to design gameplay beyond walking in a 22fps field of pop-in and shitty textures

PC's FPS goes up to 60fps retard.

>just to emulate 1 (one) game
>just
The PC's library without even including emulation is far greater than 20,000. Once you consider you can emulate 99% of games ever made, $600 is a bargain. Switch lets you play less than 100 games for $300 and you can't even do other things with it.

>ignoring the hundreds of other things you can do with a gaming rig
0/10 shit bait

Are you old enough for this board user?

PCqueers still trying to sell the delusion that cemu isn't shit.

Haven't you lost your last ounce of shame yet? Everybody on this board is laughing at you.

>w-works on my machine!

>Because $600 is nothing to my mom and dad
FTFY

It rarley does. And most of the time it drops below the Switch version. And let's not talk about the hilarious shader cache glitches or do you think that's better than the switch version too?

PCbros will deny this like they always do.

It-it'll get fixed in the next update! Then you'll see!

Fenceskip is old news. The new FPS hack is far better and you can use rivatuner to lock your fps to 30. Much smoother than an actual Switch and certainly better than Wii U. Only thing that's still off is the audio

>The main problem is that the game stutters everytime something new shows up like its loading new shaders or whatever, but after that it goes back to running fine.

get a complete shader pack you tard. you people who can't read simple instructions are the reason why consolefags even make these threads.

Take your racism somewhere else.

i doubt anybody who owns a gaming pc upgraded to emulate botw

PCfags live like this.
