Try all trailers leading up to the release of MGSV

This one is rather mediocre compared to Kojima's works.

The early ESO trailers where the only good thing about the game.

Another great trailer, it's not that old but it's still amazing
The Skyrim trailer is great, shame the game is just a 'build-your-own-sex-game'
youtube.com
and all the meet the team videos for TF2, before valve threw the artstyle out of the window.

I was so happy when this trailer came out, and I was so disappointed when the game came out.
This one hurts particularly bad youtube.com
>tfw you will never expierence gta v for the first time again
Hope red dead has the same feeling
I was so hype for Red Alert 3.
C&C3 and the DLC was so fucking good.
But the game turned out boring.

This is the greatest video game trailer ever made and nothing can convince me otherwise.

Not a trailer but the HL2 demo before the game got delayed was amazing at the time.
That jump from the old G-Man to the new with the facial expressions was fucking insane.
>nostalgia
>gtav
> I know GTA V isn't that old but still.
I included that specifically for bitches like you
Why do Mike and Frank look picture perfect to their actors but Trevor hardly looks like Steven Ogg?
You're still underage
Steven Ogg isn't actually a methhead.
Gta V came out over 4 years ago, the first trailer came out 6 years ago. Stop with the 'ur underage' just because you're 20 years old and saw somebody else post that earlier today

Dead Space 2's launch trailer

Fuck EA
I know this may be weird to be 'nostalgic' for since it's only 2015 but I found this trailer again like a week ago:
youtube.com
and all of these memories of hype for this weird miracle game made by some nobody pyccкиe that looked THAT good (in concept, not CG) started flooding back to me
I suddenly remembered watching it in '15, as well as the later gameplay trailers, solidifying the fact that I NEEDED that fucking game like right now
Totally weird since I didn't remember any of that hype, but it was definitely there.
>he doesnt know rockstar devs are massive hipsters
youtube.com
talk all the shit you want, the hype was unreal for this. it looked so promising.
Was this actually a location you could go to in the game?
Weird how the GTA trailers seriously look like the final product, if not slightly worse, as they lack the graphical improvements from launch/post-launch.
I'm so used to getting lied to in trailers that when I see how good RDR2 looks, it's VERY hard for me to believe it. Especially on aspects like draw distance.
That being said however, maybe graphics are just evolving. I remember GTAV's trailers looking UNREAL, like photo-fucking-realistic; but now they just sorta look 'meh,' and I can clearly point out the aspects that have been improved in the final release / subsequent releases.
>I Am Alive
FUCK
I still can't believe it turned out to be XBLA dogshit. That trailer looked so promising.
The team behind it got majorly downsized
youtube.com
One of the funniest and most entertaining ads for a game I've ever seen. Shame the final product wasn't as great.
That dead island trailer is still one of my favorite all time trailers. It's still so goddamn good even though the game was literally nothing like it.

>in an effort to feel nostalgic?
Why would you want to feel that way? I try to actively avoid that feeling.
Why would you not want to feel nostalgic, if only for a few minutes? I do it because I liked my life a lot better years ago if im being honest
youtube.com
You can close car doors!
BUT EVERYTHING ELSE WAS A FUCKING LIE
I just played the game today, and holy shit, I can't believe that it was the most hyped game of the year
It's good but it's not THAT good. It's sure as hell not an MMO.
I feel nostalgia for GTA5 because I was 13 the first time I played it when it launched.
I'm not even underage.
london??
Because it makes me feel bad.
> I do it because I liked my life a lot better years ago if im being honest
Sorry man, I guess I don't work like that. Being reminded how much better my life used to be only makes me feel worse. I'm not knocking nostalgia here, it has a time and a place for me as well. But I don't go looking for it, because it almost always makes me feel sad. I don't need to be sad, if I'm honest, all things considered, my life's pretty alright right now.

Bioshock turned 10 recently.
>GTA V Trailer
>Goat music
>looking really good
>see that the driving turning looks fucked up like an arcade game
>Lot's of cinematic bullshit going on
>Expecting GTA IV with lots of new technology and fun online
>The main game is just an excuse to charge $60 as the actual focus was GTA Online
>They dont even call it the multiplayer portion of the game, they genuinely consider it it's own game by several Rockstar publications and statements
>I feel nostalgia for GTA5 because I was 13 the first time I played it when it launched.
>
>I'm not even underage.
god kill me
The Division is the game that ultimately made me stop having any faith in trailers.
why did it take so long you ask? Well I'm an optimist, I thought to myself surely this will be decent, but no, it was all lies.
That was the last chance I ever gave Ubisoft, I haven't touched their games since.
>some of the people that were 13 when gta 5 came out are adults now
What the fuck
youtube.com
>Portal 2 was 6 years ago
It's a shame how the series regressed. Hopefully prey will fill the niche.
To this day Bioshock has my all-time favorite setting in vidya. Game was alright, a decent story overshadowed by a decent twist, but holy fucking shit that setting. The style, the music, the enemies. It's one of those things that make me go "Shit I wish I thought of that first".
I was so hyped.
Mafia II wasn't bad though, it's not perfect but I found it to be a decent game.
youtube.com
that fucking glover commercial at 3:47
I miss the old commercials that took jabs at other games.
Nostalgia just makes me horrendously mournful anymore.
Ogg is way more muscular than Trevor, but they actually look the same.
