I've played every Castlevania except CotM. Is it worth playing?
I've played every Castlevania except CotM. Is it worth playing?
Yes definitely COTM is great
Yes
Yes, it gets bonus points for being harder than most. Nathan controls somewhat more like a classic character and the gameplay is at least as good as AoS.
should I play the N64 games?
Absolutely not.
Are you a kid in the early 00's with nothing to do on a long car ride but play gameboy?
If no, then no.
I liked it but it was so dark, I couldn't see shit.
Really? That's a shame
Overrated.
Fucking hate it, you run like you're wearing concrete shoes, dead ends everywhere and the card system is broken as fuck. No different weapons either, only the whip.
It was good.
best one after SotN
CoM is the last Castlevania I haven't played before. It was good.
I like it a lot
I prefer aria of sorrow though
and symphony of the night, to a lesser extent.
It has a god-tier GBA soundtrack: youtube.com
Nathan controls like shit. He walks like Simon and jumps like Alucard, which is completely stupid.
Yeaaah booiiiii
Its like
Bloody Tears > Awake > Power gap > Every other Castlevania Song
Not really, but you might as well just to say you played em all.
It's great but 2 big complaints - the music stops when you look at the mini map and some of the backgrounds look similar to others so its harder to get a good grasp of the castle compared to like SotN.
I don't know if I'd put it that high, but it's definitely up there in the pantheon of Castlevania Level 1 themes. And it'll never be used again.
>And it'll never be used again.
You never know.
Post rare awakes

It's pretty good. Too bad it has the worst design of Dracula.
