Fucking gets me every time, along with on voice when someone says
>gernade

...

>hey man have you seen the epic new doos ex game

brush

>dude grand theft auto AYE VEE looks awesome!

>I just need a few more irun ignots

>aloo-min-um
>car-mal

>calvary

>clip

>nuke-u-lar

>t. Aluminium eurocuck

> I need more shotgun bullets

Where do you think this word came from?

The old french word for tower?

>eckscape

>t. expresso americuck

how are you actully supposed to say it?

>expresso

Please explain for a poor 56% brainlet

Not the same thing, since expresso is not a valid spelling or pronunciation.

this, "expresso" is just blantly incorrect, is just cultural differences

Not me I have
>Infinity ammo

The italian coffee thing is espresso. It's an italian word, no relation to express. Expresso is a brand of american coffee or something, and became standard because people don't know better, or can't tell the difference.

to my knowledge there is no coffee in america that is marketed with the name "expresso"

>nih-san
>Mary-O
>All-mund

Gas all bongs

>rouge

every fucking child on Halo 2 multiplayer would say it like that

that literally is a clip

there is no specific brand referred to as "expesso," however there are many small coffee shops and individual products with an "express" play on words, which have led to and caused this confusion.

Alu-mini-um is one of the few differences brit English ackchyually gets right. It's literally spelled -ium, and pronounced as any other element on the periodic table in this regard.

You don't call it Helum, Sodum, Uranum, etc, so why would you call it Aluminum?

>maylay

>Nikey

it's "meh-lay" right?

It's mélée

>"Car-mel"
>"erbs and spices"
>"axe you a question"

aluminium and caramel are very obviously spelled a specific way with no alternatives.

if you aren't pronouncing them phonetically, you're doing it wrong.

a "culture" pronouncing them incorrectly is still wrong.

Whenever I read that I have to tink of HoN turrent and his engineer minion at release
Now that was some hilariously broken shit
>farm ~2k gold for lightning claw
>plop down turret
>hit that shit three times with my hammer
>1v5 enemy team
youtube.com/watch?v=nWCmrgdL2Ts

>Rexus

fucking japs cant even pronounce their own car company correctly

>axe
>aks

this one triggers me the most, like how the fuck do you misspell that shit

always though this was just a joke, or ebonics.

>Toadally

This is so annoying. Hate getting messaged and game invites every time I come online in steam

"bee em vee" triggered me

>teleportal

People actually say shit like that, it's fucking ridiculous. Speaking of which.

>REDiculous

But user, that is the proper way of saying aluminum, the -ium pronunciation didn't come till later when some british professor went full autism on it because it didn't follow the naming scheme of all the other -ium elements two decades later.

maybe you should have thought about that before you chose to be born a female.

>orc-a-rina
>oak-a-rina
>oar-kane-uh

>could of
>could care less

>not just calling it Alium

Vhat's the problem?

>Soulcaliber

>could of
>should of
>would of
Just fucking die already holy shit
People who say this should be wiped from the gene pool

>could of haven'd cared less

>ee van jelly un

He originally called it Alumium, then compromised with some retarded non-english speaking turds from yurop and bastardized it.

it was always -ium 2B honest.

>amelinium

>or-can-ee-uh
>oh-car-nuh
>ah-cuh-rye-nah

All people I knew irl

>"jiff" file

>erbs

FUCKING HELL user I UNDERSTAND
IT'S "HERB" GODDAMNIT

What the fuck?

>"yiff" file

You red coats have no room to talk considering how many fucking "haytches" you drop just whenever you feel like it.

I say mee-lee

>aye van gal yun

>Super Mary-oh
This makes me rage

>not just calling it Alumium which was the actual original name, and sticks to the -ium naming convention.

do you not have a jraffic image file collection or something?

'Ocarina' probably

Not vidya but

>Hermoine from Harry Potter
>Her name, pronounced "Her-my-nee"
>Before hearing it said in the first movie, I always thought it was "Her-moyn"
>Knew a friend who insisted it was "Her-me-own"
>Was present at a book reading where the lady reading said "Herm-wyn"

Blew my fucking mind in the movie the first time hearing.

I'm american you retard, I'm just tured of assholes dropping the H for no reason

>ani mee
>main ga
>mee mee
>mee may(???)
>slash bee slash
All real things I heard my nephews, nieces, and cousins unironically say this thanksgiving, it makes me want to kill myself.

>jraffic
youtube.com/watch?v=9iafa959JvY

>her-moyn
HOW THE FUCK IS IT MOYN WHEN IT IS SPELLED MIONE YOU ILLITERATE BURGER.
THE I SOUND COMES BEFORE THE FUCKING O

I don't think anyone knew how to say it right, I never heard it said correctly until the movies either.

>deadmaufive

I figured, but how do you mispronounce it that badly? The third one is mildly understandable, but still.

Literally nobody thinks it's said that way.

My cousin used to call Castlevania "cast-leh-vahn-yuh"

>I before O

Not in American English, even if it's spelled that way.

aiiiilmao

I used too, I was retarded

Or-can-ee-uh was a dude that went on to do shrooms and various other drugs and lose his mind forever if that puts it in perspective.

Oh-car-nuh was a dumb jock that also liked to play games, but never finished them. Was just rich and had every new thing on the market.

I thought I was the only one, I remember getting laughed at for calling her "Her mine ee" because I was retarded as a kid.

>sna-ek
>ro-butt
>crate-ous

Apparently I'm still retarded because that IS how you say it, I said it as "Hair ih moan."

That is actually retarded.

When I read the books as a kid, I thought it was Percy the perfect, not Percy the prefect. It took me forever to realize it.

>"Masamune"

I've noticed from years of playing magic the gathering with randoms at release events and tournaments that people don't actually look at words they don't know. They just guess when they first glance at it and then stick to their guns.

yep. her-me-own here.

weirdest thing was, I have a great aunt named hermione and had heard it said before many times, I had just never seen it spelled and didn't connect the dots.

>sage

>Sword

>La-mule-Anna

>i sage dage

Wait, it's not pronounced "sword"?
Well now I feel silly.

No, your way is retarded. Everyone knows hard vowel sounds take precedence over soft vowel sounds even if the word is spelled with them in different order.
