The PS4 did have a big price drop for the holiday season. It's impressive that the Switch maintained its momentum even though the PS4 had a price drop and the Xbox had a "new" console released. If it were the WiiU, it wouldn't have broken 100k in the West against that level of competition.
I don't expect the Switch to outsell the PS4 when the PS4 is in its prime, but it only needs to sell well.
