People are creating impressive paper engineering stuffs with the joy-cons

without even having gone nintendo labo to the market.

BU-BU-BUT THEY ARE PLAYING WITH CARDBOARD. STOP HAVING FUN REEEEEEEE

post how you would combine the joy-con technology and paper engineering

>paper engineering
thanks for the laugh OP

Nintendo has too much power now.

>Nintendo

>paper engineering

/po/ get out

It's cheaper to use cardboard and 2 dildoes, no switch needed

you could do the same fucking thing with dildos and it would have the same impact

Have fun being raided by the nintendo police.

They want to prepare japanese kids for the future war against China with exoskeletons.

pst...you guys looking for some cheap labo? i got you covered

I don't need the Switch to make a grasshopper out of cardboard. I don't even need any dildos to make that thing. Just cardboard.

>post how you would combine the joy-con technology and paper engineering

By inserting a joycon in a girl(male)s pooper in and paying with monopoly money.

>paper engineering

>it's already starting
you will understand
this is for all my brothers that died that fateful night

>joycons are basically wind up toys now

it seems that you can create your own games in labo

What are the joycons suppose to do exactly? I thought all it does is make things rumble?

These japanese fucks are trying again to spread their origami culture garbage. Boycott this trash and buy a real american big budget game like God of War 4 like all real gamers do.

You clearly don't understands the basics of PAPER ENGINEERING

You couldn't fold a paper airplane if your life depended on it you dumb drop kick.

twitter.com/masaki_samurai/status/919190302287470592

some people did the labo thing before it was cool

I would combine joycon tech with a grasshopper and then post it to twitter because it has nothing to offer to gameplay

>BUT THEY ARE PLAYING WITH CARDBOARD.
yes they are, and no ammount of I AM SILLY will justify the price tag

You're right, because I'd need the Nintedo labo DLC :^)

...

But this isn't anything related to politics and shit?

...

Yes, there are pretty impresive things that you can do with paper engineering

Remember when miyamoto say that he doesn't want people that only play video games on nintendo? looking Sup Forums I understand why.

>「glasshopper」

No, that's Sup Forums

Designing your own controller UI is not the same as creating your own games. Whatever justifies you paying $70 for cardboard I guess.

>tfw /po/ saw this coming

That's cool and all, but how do you play it? I mean, that is the reason the controllers are still factored into this right? Because there is a video game worth playing that goes along with it. Otherwise, these are just novelty controller stands.

>"batta"

thats Sup Forums politically incorrect
/po/ for papercraft and origami
you see the difference?
/po/
/poLLLLLLLLL/

I don't like that this is BTFOing VR. Stop having fun with cardboard you soys.

And to think all these years I thought it was /poI/ as in /poi/

Its for kids you faggot, kids

This the epitome of soy

Not user, it's for paper engineers

>nb4 Labo was just a giant advertising campaign for a new shittier Paper Mario

I wish I was so blinded by nostalgia that I could defend spending $80+ on cardboard.

boards are all lowercase though.

paper engineering is not for kids, only adults with a high educational level can make use of this tool

kek

What the fuck would that stand for you autistic shit

>/poi/
That sounds great, actually, poi.

The joycon has HD rumble, which is a fancy word for variable frequency and speed, an IR camera and a gyroscope, you don't even need Labo or the Switch, if you or anyone made an Android app that allowed you to control those variables you could build your own "robots" or proximity sensors, granted you can't do much with something that vibrates, but if this succeeds Nintendo could release their own branded Servo Motors, just like Lego did with the mindstorm, I don't expect anything close to the flexibility of a programmable microcontroller but this could jumpstart many into engineering.

please leave

poyo :3

>implying VR isn't the epitome of soy
Facebook is literally one of the main companies in that market. There's no company more soy than Goybook.

>print template
>glue to cardboard you already have in your house
how do you spend $80 on cardboard unless you're using boxes with prepaid shipping?

My God. That's beautiful.

I can only start appreciating this if that thing actually hops, which I doubt it does.

To be honest even then it's still just cardboard.

PO litically I ncorrect

No one told me this when I came from reddit

Genuinely have to wonder where all these people get so much money from
>No savings

People don't grasp sarcasm

A single bale of cardboard can be $3000 - $5000.

>New board announced: /pov/ - Papercraft, Origami, and Vidya

Wait Sup Forums told kids don't care about this.

youtube.com/watch?v=NKQeC18Ou4E

>Nostalgia
>Cardboard
All NES, SNES and N64 accessories were about power, the future or at least cutting edge tech gimmicks for video games. Even Pokemon TCG was compatible with the e-reader at some point. I don't feel nostalgic for cardboard.

GameStop is already selling new labo accessories as pre owned with a huge mark up

>not available in Freedomland
Okay.

I have an extremely slight interest in the piano toy and so, with that in mind, here is my proposed Labo plan:

>Wait until I find the game in a pawnshop/trade-in store at a good low price
>Use 3D printer to make the needed parts for the piano in plastic
>Just play the piano toy

I wish I was that smart. Fuck im going to kill myself now.

>Nintendo could release their own branded Servo Motors
and then the homebrew crowd upgrades them to 3phase mains motors
and then these headlines happen
"nintendo switch labo gone wrong: 100s of casualties"

What fucking language do you speak?
It certainly isn't English.

how much does the cardboard cost

Right but many of the people excited for this are citing nostalgic wonder as the reason they're buying it.

Buy the cardboard, get a free game? Sounds like a good deal.

There's not a fucking problem with people playing with cardboard the problem is the price.

>paper engineering
So this is how they intend to make Nintendo soyboys feel good about themselves. Call autistic adults playing with cardboard "engineering".

ZIRIGUIDUM!

poi poi

What. Why don't you just buy a fucking keyboard?

American kids are too stupid for labo. Have you seen parents post about it?

>my kid would destroy this in seconds!
>my kid wouldn't be able to put it together!

enjoy your 60 dollar 30 minute demo game.

>"engineering"
What do you even think this word means?

youtube.com/watch?v=8qNmRi-gNqE

then use plasticstock and a hotgluegun (or epoxy) materials are clearly interchangeable as long as the the interior angles and spacing matches up

>glasshopper

>defend

People are making their own things without wasting $80

Why are you Fuck heads shoving the assumption that we are defending it because we aren’t shitposting Nintendoom

>tfw I have bootleg labo in my room as we speak
I can hook you up, my dude

I HAVE real keyboards, the labo is a toy for the switch. If I can get it for like $15 then what's the problem?

Seal of Quality

I didn't give a shit about labo, but this is pretty neat.

>but if this succeeds Nintendo could release their own branded Servo Motors
The servo motors ARE the joycons
The switch is a control panel,

/po/ is the final redpill

switches largest demographic is males 25-30

>people like fun, creative things over 30fps cinematic experiences

Wow who knew

>that one guy who replied several times to defend nintendo's honor from the H8rs
thats pretty sad

Mcdonalds sells a lot of burgers to the 25-30 market but still makes happy meals.

What's your point?

You have to go back

>engineering
actually it's a science
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paper_engineering

My god, people on Sup Forums only knows about videogames? common, go outside, breath and know the world.

>The servo motors ARE the joycons
what

How long until Nintendo sues them for counterfeit cardboard?

What exactly is there to combine? The only tech that joy-cons have is rumble, gyro and a shitty IR sensor. All of which is locked behind proprietary software unless you decide to use them on PC.

You know what actually had cool applications? The Kinect. It was useless as fuck for gaming and Microsoft fucked up even trying to sell it, but it became useful for med students and engineers thanks to the robust sensor technology it had.

I don't understand why people are going nuts over Nintendo releasing the ability for players to play around with rumble and IR.

>japs doing cardboard origami
big fucking dealio

Labo isn't just cardboard. There's also strings, rubber bands, and reflective strips. I also imagine it would be very difficult to work with anything that has to fold when 3D printing.
