Thanks Asian mom

INTEL ALWAYS WINS BABY

>tfw she sounds nothing like a ching chong wing wong ling long

>that music
gas me

dat music, is it 2008 again?

anybody actually giving a fuck about cinebench test, show us all modern games vs intel.

Skylake-E destroys Rypoo garbage in a few months time, Intel wouldn't even give a fuck about this bankrupt company

...

Yeah I'm sure Intel doesn't care at all that they now have to cut the prices on their top product by 50% to stay competitive

That's what happens when you have actual engineers leading an engineering company and not (((MBAs))).

>Su began attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the fall of 1986, intending to major in either electrical engineering or computer science. She settled on electrical engineering,[4] recollecting that it seemed like the most difficult major.[2][13] During her freshman year she worked as an undergrad research assistant “manufacturing test silicon wafers for graduate students”[14] through the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP). The project, as well as her summer jobs at Analog Devices, made her interested in semiconductors.[4] She remained focused on the topic for the remainder of her education,[14] spending much of her time in labs designing and adjusting products.[2] After earning her bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, she obtained her master’s degree from MIT in 1991. From 1990 to 1994[10] she studied for her PhD[2] under MIT advisor Dimitri Antoniadis.[4] MIT Technology Review reports that as a doctoral candidate, Su was “one of the first researchers to look into silicon-on-insulator (SOI) technology, a then unproven technique for increasing transistors’ efficiency by building them atop layers of an insulating material.”[4] She graduated with her PhD in electrical engineering[4][9] from MIT in 1994.[4]

>i have lived long enough to see AMD finally do it and btfo of intel again
thank you lord

Sniper elite 4, one of the most georgeous games released? Come on now.

>During her freshman year she worked as an undergrad research assistant
honestly the most impressive thing there. my professors wouldn't even let me sniff their farts, forget about research collab.

domo arigato Asian momboto

how can Intel even compete with that?

Keep telling yourself that, Intelcuck.

Literally the most important slide.

They actualy fucking got IPC level from excavator to Broadwell-e level in one swoop.

Holy crap that's a major accomplishment.

Now lets hope these things overclock to at least 4.5 ghz or I'm still getting a 6700k

感謝感謝,謝天謝地!

> my professors wouldn't even let me sniff their farts
> tfw you'll never sniff them farts ;_;

just doing research is honestly not impressive. Undergrad research at decent/top unis is extremely accessible for students that don't suck at what they do because the faculty there know that it's a great way to prepare for grad school (plus they get undergrad grunts to do shit they don't have time to do).

intel is going nowhere.

i7's will still dominate in gaming benchmarks and probably sales too. ryzen will good but in the same way polaris was good. it's going to win some and lose some.

I for one am getting a 1700X for sure but please stop blowing this shit out of proportion.

>They actually did it, the absolute madmen

> Skylake-E
> Another socket, mobo will cost $400 plus $400 for a low-end HEDT CPU
> While on AMD you can choose either a budget APU or a whopping 8/16 monster, all on the same motherboard
> "destroys"

>not a single benchmark by AMD for gaming
Give it up you zenshitters.

Intel has got a wall tick-tock is no longer viable.

How the fuck is this thing faster when they both boost to 4ghz and IPC is equal.

I hope they didn't pull some bullshit and left out the fact that XFR boosted the 1800x higher than 4 ghz

AMD doesn't care. There will be reviews, but maybe gaymes isn't their selling point?

クソ外人

they showed us BF1, but that was up against the 6900K.

Did you even watch the video, idiot

>left out the fact that XFR boosted the 1800x higher than 4 ghz
It's a feature of the CPU :^)

No-one except die hard Intelcucks are going to spend thousands more for a few extra FPS in some games which benefit the most from single core performance. Games which will increasingly become more rare as core counts increase and developers start to take advantage of them. MUH SINGLE CORE is dead, deal with it.

SMT implementation is better.

also, this is a cherry picked benchmark. there's no way the 1800X can beat it at everything.

>thousands
Meant hundreds. Fug. Whatever.

>SMT implementation is better?

That seems highly unlikely, Intel has had many generations to perfect it, this is AMD's first

>intel is going nowhere.
It's OK to be afraid Shlomo. That's just natural

>there's no way the 1800X can beat it at everything.
If it's clocked higher, why not?

They both boost to 4 ghz according to specs

您的態度應所改進。

The 1800x is faster in multithreaded benchmarks because of AMD's SMT which is more efficient than Intel's HT. It appears SMT is around 10% faster.

We sort of knew this already.

>No-one except die hard Intelcucks are going to spend thousands more for a few extra FP
>thousands more
the mainstream i7 chips are better than the LGA 2011 chips at gaming. they just clock much higher. this has been proven time and time again. and they cost just as much as the 1700X does.

they're not gonna show off Ryzen against mainstream i7s because they will LOSE, unless they purposefully show a workload in which Ryzen is at a massive advantage like streaming DotA 2.

Ryzen is really fucking good. it's a compute monster. it's a VIABLE competitor to KBL. but it'll be a few FPS behind in most games and that's fact. until MT capable engines start being numerous.

please use your brain. AMD doesn't have to literally win at everything for this to be a success.

>not a single benchmark for gaming
>shows extreme situational testing instead
>but then also shows bf1, with lowest ryzen chip beating 6800k

hahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha nice try shekleburg

They also showed Sniper Elite 3. The 1800x was 10-15% faster than the 6900k.

unlikely, but nonetheless possible

man this is painful. I've been defending AMD for fucking years. now that I'm not being a mouth breathing fucking idiot I'm suddenly not part of the club anymore?

no quad channel, half the AVX2 perf, probably some other architectural stuff I'm missing as well.

Intel will win at shitty engines, just like Nvidia wins at old APIs.

the time will eventually come when they can no longer ride that wave, and AMD will dominate.

YEAH! MASS PRIDE! OUR PEOPLE POWER THE BEST CPUS!

Source: your ass

Shill kikes are evolving.
>I like AMD, goy hehehe

>no quad channel
Irrelevant. There's barely any difference. It's not the same as single vs dual channel.
>half the AVX2 perf
Source: your kike ass
>probably some other architectural stuff I'm missing as well.
>probably

What is wrong with that man's face?

No it wasn't, they were performing almost identical idiot. Stop overhyping

>youtube.com/watch?v=Sq3eLdixvCc

Now begins the era of just tics eventually ending in another epic tock. Intel shall take the lead again. It is explained quite clearly in the prophecy.

hey, whatever man.

just wait until march rolls around and intel fags start posting cherry picked skyrim benchmarks. polaris all over again.

>Intel selling the 6900k for 1050 bucks
>AMD is able to beat it with something they sell for 499 bucks and stilll make a profit

Really makes you think about the kind of profit margins Intel was running on the 6900k

Unless you are an old school gamer.

>le I need source xDDD
Back to lereddit, shill. The 10% increase over HT is a conclusion based on leaks and now we have official benchmarks that go in line with that.

Are you actualy trying to make someone look bad for asking for a source?

>intel fags start posting cherry picked skyrim benchmarks
I know you will, kike, but that's like comparing the 6900k and the 7700k.
The 1800x will BTFO babbylake with XFR.

AMD RYZEN IS BETTER PERFORMANCE FOR HALF THE PRICE

INTEL JUST GOT FUCKING BUTT ANNIHILATED AND DESTROYED ROYALLY

Look at all the buttrekt intel fanboys on linustechtips video

you know what? I bet you're the shill

trying to discredit AMD fans by acting as retarded as possible

you ain't fooling me

Battlefield 1 on ryzen CPU that is 100 bucks cheaper than Intel: 94fps

Battlefield 1 on Intel Core i7 6800K that costs 100 bucks more than the AMD one: 81 FPS

GET REKT

>will boost up to 4.1 ghz with the right cooling
>100 mhz extra
I expected more out of xfr

Wtf. Linus sold out. Now I have to hate him.

It's more accurate to say that Intel knew exactly what they were doing when they sold their CPUs for 100% markup because they knew they had no competition, and now they're finally being forced to play fair. But they still have all the profits from those years of overpricing everything, and most of the marketshare, so who's the real winner here?

Reptilians

my AMD stock that I bought in 2009

not guy above, but Zen has half the AVX throughput of post-Broadwell Intel chips (2 * 128b add and multiple instead of 2 * 256b).

this only really matters for scientific/simulation stuff, but it allows Zen to be smaller and have lower power draw, not just from the smaller SIMD ALUs but from less cache bandwidth requirements too. Intel needs 64B/clock to keep the AVX fed, whereas Zen can get away with 32B/clock.

They literally pull the same trick with last time. They pretend all we do is 100% x265 encoding. Their single thread performance was only "tested" against 6900k which is only 3.7GHz.

take your shitty memes with you

I have no doubt the 7700k will beat it in single threaded performance.

There is no fucking way these things will boost to 5 ghz.

Still, if I can get a 4.5 ghz (oc'd) 6 core/12t, cheaper than a 5 ghz 4c/8t cpu, I would pick the 6 core

>only 3,7GHz

Ryzen R7 runs at 3.0GHz kiddo, and at 65W TDP compared to Intels housefire 91W and 140W TDP with half the cores KEK

it boosts to 3.7, 3.0 is the baseclock, moron
