The g400 that was linked seems genuine enough. One of the reviewers says the sensor is genuine, I trust the review since he complained the screws are hidden under the large skates. The guy was a mx518 fanatic as well so that gives him a bit more validity in my opinion. The software detects it as real and adjustments work plus the pictures show all the logos and buttons are either real or close enough not to know the difference. The only real difference from a genuine g400 is the wire which looks like its from the g400s, but in my opinion that's a good thing since the wire was a common failure point on the original. If you really want a g400 then go for it. If not then the mice in the other reply are good as well.

I'm a trucker so I decided to get something more robust. It's probably too bulky for most people, unless you're really concerned about breaking your phone. The only design flaw I found so far is that most headphone jacks don't reach the socket because of the waterproofing hatch. My old samsung earbud jack fit it though. It came with a clean install of Android 7 with no bloat except for the usual google apps.
Also, I bought my last phone in 2011 so I'm pretty out of the loop. Can anyone tell me what how to root this thing? I tried kingo and it didn't work. Is there some kind of braindead easy way to root chinkphones that isn't a chink botnet. Also do Lucky Patcher and Xposed work on Nougat? Sorry for asking for tech support.
