Is there any reason to get the rx480 any more? Or is the 580 better in every regard for the same price?

For the same price, of course not. The 580 clocks higher unless you get a golden 480.

How much would you say the 580 is worth over the 480? I saw some benchmarks and the distance between the cards were seemingly insignificant.

About tree fiddy.

BOY I AINT GIVN YOU NO TRE FIDY

You're better off finding a great deal of the 470 or 480, depending on what kind of GPU you have now.

I've had a GTX 670 before getting a 470 so it was a huge upgrade for me.

Get a 1080ti..... NIGGA

If you get a car for that price, where do you hide the dead body found in the trunk?

Is 1060 a better buy if I'm not planning on updating to W10 anytime soon?

Hah, there wasn't. Rover 600, it's kind of a rebranded Honda accord which is still reliable as fuck. Been driving it for a year and not a single issue has occurred so far. On top of that i always get compliments about how comfy the seats are. It also comes with actual rims!

pics or it didn't happen lol

Pics on what ? Be more specific. Although it's not that hard of a chore to find one. Not sure how it's in America, don't think they have lots of Rover communities over there.

>no issues in a year
>this is reliable by todays standards

The old Accord is a good car in any case.

>It also comes with actual rims!
>rims

And my Glock comes with clips.

I've got the car for just as year.

Also, metal rims. Not one of those plastic wheel caps put on a lot of modern cars no a days. The ones you see next to the road a lot.

Runs cooler than the RX 580, also draws less power.

>caring about power draw
Wow, you saved 50 cents per year! Good job for you!

the 580 is literalle an OC'd 480

I prefer the 480, has the same performance if OC'd but it's more power/temp efficient on normal use

Get the 480 with the 580 bios. I prefer the 1060 tb h

It's worth about 10% more; but in reality the 580 is being sold as cheap as $190

The difference seems pretty significant imo

AMD RX 580 vs RX 480

That because the 580 is oc. Both are the same card

No, but if you're upgrading from an old build, power usage is important if you don't want to change your power supply. With Ryzen or i5/i7, you can use the RX 480 with a 500W PSU with no issues. But you'll need to upgrade the PSU if you want the RX 580.

the real question is should i get a 1060 6gb or a 580. Not like it matters my ivy bridge 15 is probably holding me back in this day and age now.

Check the prices, get the cheaper one. Performance doesn't really have that much of a gap and if you can maintain proper room temp, the house fire meme is never true.
