Why aren't you using a distro that actually cares about aesthetics?

why aren't you using a distro that actually cares about aesthetics?

>adds padding unecessarily
>xbox hueg buttons and elements
might as well use windows/macOS user

What Windows 10 version is this?

ummm because my distro lets me change my DE /WM?

Because I am not gay

I am.

>half the window is the top bar
lol

...

Because all I need is a tty with tmux

>being a GUI-nigger on Linux
>2018

what distro is this? looks nice, but I doubt I'll like it overall.

>a distro that focuses on aesthetics

You can customize the de in any Linux distribution
You can change the de in any Linux distribution
You can download the same icon packs and themes in any Linux distribution

Explain to me how certain distros are more or less "focused" on anesthetics.

>half-transparencies
>aesthetics
It's not like today is 2012

But that's Chrome OS

Scuse me coming through...

because there was broken english in the installer

I am

Its weird. I feel like it never uses my GTX 760M.
Everytime I run nvidia's config app, it says that im not using an nvidia driver. :/

Unknown OS using the Deepin DE

sure, it's aesthetic. if the goal is to look like windows 7 from 2009

>Deepin
>Chinese botnet
>OS attempts to look and feel like Windows 10 or Mac OS
>Mac OS doesn't even look and feel like Mac OS because it is lacking the menu bar found on Redstar OS and Mac OS
>Attempts to be a clone of Windows 10
>Windows 10

>Terminal.app not iTerm
>bash not zsh
>no customized prompt
>Safari not Chromium
the absolute state of Sup Forums

>Chromium
>Google botnet

>bash not zsh
zsh is a meme. (Disclaimer: I use zsh) A place I worked at used zsh in production and it fucking sucked. Its only true advantage is better tab completion.

>Terminal.app not iTerm
iTerm is also a meme (Disclaimer: I use iTerm). The only real advantage is the hotkey window and screen splitting, which I barely use any more.

>no customized prompt
Who the fuck cares?

Get a job

ty

desu I'm trying out deep in on my laptop currently, how do I get the dock to change to a bar like that?

because which distribution you use has fuck all to do with how your desktop can look

fagOS

Switch to fashion mode from efficient mode

Because there's no point. I use XFCE with the default theme because I just don't give a single fuck about how it looks. I just set some generic space wallpaper up and leave it. None of it matters since I spend all of my time in the text editor, browser, email client, office suite, terminal, etc.

Because on Linux you can use whatever aesthetic you want on any mainstream distro.

GoboLinux is aesthetic.

wrong

Because I dont care about aesthetics, thats normie shit, im fine with functional things

You can get any DE on any distro with any themes that you want. All distros are basically the same with the only major difference being the package manager.

There are people that find this aesthetic.

Because

If someone had made a perfect Windows theme for Linux then Windows would have died out years ago. The main reason stopping people from using Linux is the UI

>there are people that don't
Typical consumerist pleb with no taste.

It looks good, will definitely try it later.

>he fell for the apple minimalism meme

deepin is a chinese botnet
noty

Windows is ugly lol wtf are you smoking. If you had said macOS you would have been onto something.

why arent you? LOL

It wasnt ugly in Windows 7

I prefer utility over beauty

Win10 looks miles better than 7.

Can I has an wallpaper?

I am, user.

>shit color scheme
>still doesn't support UEFI

lmao at CloverOS fags

I'm done with linux. I'm currently using win10 as I needed something that worked.

Why aren't you?

>Because all I need is a tty with tmux

If you use tmux/screen then you can combine all those windows into 1 terminal. Also look up nvim and also the plugin installer Plug.

Why are you using GNU/Linux then?

I'm not, I run TrueOS.

I don't want to combine them. And I don't use neovim.

All editors < Nano.
Nano master race.

Because I use it to actually do stuff, rather than use it as an otherwise untouched piece of art in my room.

>still doesn't support UEFI
There are people who care about this? Why? To what end?

Half-transparencies are aesthetic and look good on main panel.

Because I'm using one that cares about ETHICS

>Uptime: 15m
>/home/clover
Nice VM that you don't actually use for anything

...

What font is that in the titlebars? Looks pretty nice
