Headphone Thread

Post your best in hear headphones for around $100. Trying to figure out which I should buy, looking for overall crisp sound. Pic related, my current choice, the Sennheiser Momentums.

If we're talking in ear: vsonic GR07 bass edition - for the price hands down ~100-130 USD

Don't let the name lead you into thinking they're only for dubstep or hiphop, it's a modest bump from the sound characteristics of the originals, but it's certainly not overwhelming.

Build quality isn't amazing though, I've killed two pairs in about 3 years. Just ordered my third because they're that good in this price range.

That's my biggest concern about headphones around this price. I am generally very careful with my headphones, but every pair has always had one side lose sound. I'll look into these though! If you have any more reccomendations, I'd love to see them.

These are great and the ends pop off of the cord. A replacement wire is about $30 but cheaper on ebay.

Another contender added to my list, thanks!

I've got a pair of t-JAYS 3

Bit of a weird design, but they sound incredible. they were around 100 bucks i think

Or you could just save up and buy some ATH-m50x's

i got em discounted at around 140 bucks, but they're normally sold around 200~250 bucks

Fuck of m50x shill.

As of now I'm looking more towards the Dunu Titan 1s. I may save up and get the Titan 5s instead.

I mean those are good but generally if you're buying in ear it's to use while out and about. M50s are not good for that.

Shure se215 se, it's very very good

I've got these, they're alright for the ~$65 I paid for them. Only problem is that the little protective piece that's supposed to keep dust and dirt out fell out just 2-3 months after I bought which is really annoying.
Such a dumb design choice, just a wafer thin piece of hardened foam that they glued the very edges off onto the outer edge of the canals. They started accumulating some dirt so I tried to clean them as best I could and bam, glue came off and they started falling out.
Wouldn't have been that big of a deal if it wasn't for the fact that they also contributed with calming down the treble-y side of the in-ears but I solved that by fiddling very slightly with the EQ, only gets annoyingly treble-y when you max the volume out now.

Great sound for the price, especially for rock/metal but I really wouldn't recommend them just for that one issue.

...

Are these just a meme or are they really that good? I'd buy them if I wasn't afraid of them not fitting my ears.

Sound quality is excellent, but the wire has to go behind your ear, which makes putting them on fucking annoying

Do they stay secure even if you're moving around a lot? Not sprinting or anything. I've never had good quality headphones before and I'm on the market for something that doesn't make me look retarded outside of the house

Yeah, it comes with three different sized foam ear thingys so one of them should fit your ear. It shields sound really well so you cant hear out, and other people cant hear your music.

Thanks!

i use these, they are about $30 a set but the sound quality is the same as a $200-$300 set. no they arent top of the line quality, but they are comfortable and work very well. the bonus is you can buy a crate of 10 sets for $80.

Is KOSS KSC75 still the best clip-on headphone?

I'm getting tired of having to buy another.

>but the sound quality is the same as a $200-$300
kek

August ep650s are some great headphones with bluetooth optional, crazy bass and sound quality, comfortable padding (They're over-ear) and they're 50 bucks.

This is the best one you can get for $200. Save up and get this

I have $120 in my pocket that I could invest in prettifying a $300 guitar, or I could buy some headphones with it. What cans are best for listening to avant-garde music and understanding what's going on?

soundmagic e10s

any good earbuds that are shaped like apple earpods?

don't know if they've been dethroned yet but they're pretty decent value if you don't like canal phones

The only down side is they look like shit and their semi open design makes them garbage for travelling with.

Would take the base gr07's over them.

"Durability: SE215 > IM70 >>> GR07

Sound: GR07 > IM70 > SE215"

YES. Fucking perfect, got em for around 140 Aussie dollars. They're a pain in the arse to adjust to but you get the hand of it unless you're retarded

etymotik mk5 are extremely isolating. love them.

Holy fuck this.
Vsonics are the best you can get at the price. They are one of The best IEM ever.

If these are anything like their over ear headphones, go with these. I've had a pair of Sure SRH440s for about a year now. Great sound quality and sturdy/durable.

>but the sound quality is the same as a $200-$300 set.
Nope

Alright guys, I've looked at the Shure SE215s, and I'd love to own them, however the jack is a bit clunky and I doubt it would fit in my phone while the case is on. I should have specified that the source will be an iPhone 6!

Are there any good quality headphones for around €60.

Like good enough so that you can hear all the subtle, minute details in a song's composition?

nope

SHP9500

depending on where you live you can get for 65.
