Just to note, I genuinely loved this musician at the time and had no idea this was racist. A year or so later we had to choose a song to sing acapella in music class and I chose to rap one of his songs but was interrupted halfway through because I didn't understand the lyrics were about sex.

For some additional background, I was around eight or nine years old at the time. Almost every other guy in my yeargroup went to school with shorts and sports jersey and claimed to be their favorite athlete. I wouldn't be diagnosed as autistic for another ten years!
