>implying remastered isn't better than the original 9/10 times

GOAT troll

Aw, but I like the cheesy hair metal sound on the original Pearl Jam - Ten.

Remastered lo-fi

I point you to the Alan Parsons Project's 1976 debut album "Tales of Mystery and Imagination". Original is GOAT, remaster has a shitty gated reverb and some narration by Orson Welles.

she was made for sucking me baby
and i was made for fuckin thee

that's not a thing

but my original point still holds true, especially for every album made before the 80s

Which is one example. I can say that remastered house and techno albums have almost always been better than the original. This isn't house, but take this track by the pet shop boys for instance: Shep Pettibone's remaster is 1000x better than the original.

>every album made before the 80s
Although it's reddit-core dadrock, Alan Parsons's original mix of Dark Side of the Moon is GOAT desu

Demos

Since you mention JP, their early albums had shit-tastic production. The original vinyl mix of Starbreaker can be easily distinguished by a momentary sound dropout during the 2nd verse; the remaster doesn't have that.

Also I noticed none of the songs from their first two albums with Gull Records were taken down apparently because WMG doesn't own those.

Remastered sucks dicks

>what is clipping?

>albums
>listening to an hour of shit for two good songs

Raw Power mixed by Iggy Pop.

Every album Steven Wilson has remastered is significantly better than the original.

Generally speaking, at least for my favourite artists, there is always at least one remaster/remix which beats all the others including the original hands down.

>songs
>listening to 3 minutes of shit for the chorus

>muh pops and clicks

>listening to an hour of shit for two good songs

speak for yourself m8, we don't all have shit taste

american idiot remaster >>>> original. it made me like the album again.

find better albums

The remaster of Spiderland is fantastic.

Remasters can be much better you purist faggot. I bet you use analog audio.

took the bait lmao f a m

Mogwai Young Team remaster is the norm. The original version was just too quiet

is it really? sounds exactly the same to me, except for slightly louder vocals
