Them.

oh shit waddup !

Not meming, but 2013, Young Lean desu.

He peaked sadly.

i dont come here too often, is it thought that these guys posted themselves as cringe just to get exposure while not seeming to be self-promoting?

fuck off

No.

This is a Jacob Sartorius thread now, post Jacob Sartorius.

m.youtube.com/watch?v=HWZKg5mNkHM

Real life will hit hard at some point. This guy will be a wreck in 10 years...

The guys in Iceage were 18-19 when New Brigade was released

Silverchair

youtube.com/watch?v=7UYC615HGr4

this kid

that's not very nice bro

...

The Jackson 5

cap'n jazz

this

He was 17 when he put out the Inearthed's Shining (their third demo), which includes the excellent track "Talking of the Trees." He was also only 18 when he put out Bodom's debut album Something Wild.

Entombed was also in their teens when they put out the Nihilist demos, and then later when they put out the classic debut Left Hand Path.

Not very rare for extreme metal bands.

the shaggs

This isn't cringe at all

Mike Oldfield made Tubular Bells when he was 19, though I'm not sure if that's close enough.

youtube.com/watch?v=8LIqn2FGYsg

All band members were teens, when this come out, the drummer was fucking 11 years old lol.

they sure can play their instruments, but damn is this boring

This guy were like 16 when he wrote the somberlain

Tony Williams, Glenn Gould to name two off the top of the head

youtube.com/watch?v=i30GIiQzpJw

very sad what happened to these guys

I second this.
Boring in what way? the music? the repetition? I don't personally find it boring but i do find it fun and easy listening. sick clean guitar.

to me it sounds like a slew of notes and guitar lines put together in a somewhat haphazard way. i'm not one to shy away from math rock, but this doesn't engage me, the melodies are an unsatisfying clusterfuck to my ears.

...

desu

its this how you will describe Hella? or any math rock band really.

If anything Chon its one of the more simple/basic forms of math rock out there, there for making it more easy to follow.

came to post this

Weren't Slint teenagers when they made Spiderland? I think Nick Drake was 19 when he wrote Five Leaves Left.

based

Rachmaninoff wrote a pretty good fugue at age 16. Mozart and Mendelssohn were also pretty based teenagers

kate bush wrote some of the songs on her first album as early as 13

Avey Tare recorded his first album as a teen.

I would _____ that kid

kate bush /thread

More like Mike Youngfield
He looked like Marcel wtf

Iglooghost

youtube.com/watch?v=IivGqwQvdCI

I unironically like Debbie Gibson.

pink floyd's first album

came to post this too

Yeah I keep forgetting how young they are/were. Granted it does explain a bit of the naivety behind the music.

Also, Kate Bush was 19 when Wuthering Heights was released.

>Bush first came to note in 1978 when, at the age of 19, she topped the UK Singles Chart for four weeks with her debut single, "Wuthering Heights", becoming the first female artist to achieve a UK number-one with a self-written song.

Pretty damn impressive

I assumed that he would be posted earlier than this.

LAST NIGHT I DROVE TO HARPER'S FERRY

Michael Jackson

If the title of Selected Ambient Works 85-92 is to be believed, Richard made at least some of it between the ages of 14-18. I think "i" is confirmed to be the earliest track.

avey and panda were around 19-20 when this was released and avey wrote Penny Dreadfuls when he was 15

im pretty sure everyone was already way into their 20's but yeah I can understand why you think they would be 15

Shakira was 18 when she came out with this and it's pretty damn good

lmaoooooo I get it now

No, it's a meme on here. Someone posted claiming they were cringe, unlikely to be them though, and everyone defended them. Now it's ironically posted in cringe threads.

wasn't homme like 15 when he started Kyuss?

Sup Forums is too pretentious to like this album for the most part but I believe they were all about 18 when they released it, and about 15-16 when they started.

>see this thread
>tfw you're 21 and just started playing guitar
>tfw it will probably take you 5+ years until you're actually good

>tfw you're 18 and have no technical skill with any instrument but feel like you have musical talent
>tfw you realize you're an idiot and should learn to play an instrument
>tfw you're too lazy to learn an instrument

This.
His peak was rather short.
But he wasn't really a preteen. He was already 16.

...

tweez was released while they were still in highschool
but spiderland they were in college so around 20

Donnie and Joe Emerson

the slintbois?

fucking swedes let their children act like clowns don't they

He was 20 when STGSTV was released. It's in the lyrics.

I started playing piano when I was 22, joined music school at 28. There's a lot of 40+ people there too, some are even going overseas. Its never too late user, keep the hard work.

so did we find out if the guitarist is actually thurston's son?

>preteen
>teen
Watch out, there's a Gary about.

youtube.com/watch?v=7IiLZ0dvDWU

man what an ugly kid

16 year old Chris Brown was pure patrician pop.

youtube.com/watch?v=yn_6LC4loY8

He's a good singer and dancer. Would be nice if he played instruments though, but still a talented dude.

every time I see ppl like this I have the overwhelming urge to stab them until they're dead and I wouldn't even feel a thing

16 and made one of the best mixtapes of the decade

chief keef
lil flip
paul wall, slim thug
outkast
too short
ice cube
el-p

>earl
>good

u right as a muh fuck

debbie gibson's music wasn't anything special but i'm pretty sure she was the only teen popstar to write, produce, and play instruments from debut
youtube.com/watch?v=IivGqwQvdCI

Mike Oldfield

Slint

There's footage of them practising Spiderland in the drummer's mom's basement, and they all look like they're fucking 14 or someshit.
youtu.be/LVdU_bLD2-M?t=85

youtube.com/watch?v=EM7X33kmn_I

A 16 year old made this is 1968-69

Chandra. She was like 10 or 12 and she put out a post-punk album.

YOU WALK ON THE SUBWAY

The Shangri-Las.
The Shaggs.

Foliage

IT MOVES AROUND

Where do I start with Aphex Twin?

>music school
kek

With that. Then you listen to Drukqs.

And I see no one is mentioning that Bjork album when she was like 9. But then again, that wasn't exactly very good.

youtube.com/watch?v=pgsHO-gVH54
