We have a brand new studio album called Projekto de Bombas, made in collaboration with Pradera de Bombas, a band we're friends with and share one member. So this is a different album for us.

El Vacio Del Gaucho (2015) was composed over several months and, while recorded 'live' (simultaneously) it has overdubs and some studio trickery.
Our jam albums Zapadas vol 1 and 2 are selections of completely raw recordings and 100% improvised music made just for fun but are pretty nice albums in themselves. Then there's the debut self titled album from 2012.

ahhhhh i have a somewhat limited understanding of it it, but from my perspective it basically just means that your style is very interconnected with general internet culture

this is the genres seminal album, i like it, maybe you wont, whatever
this album is cool i wonder how they made it . i guess my music kinda sounds like this
I started making this as a joke and then started trying in the last 3 songs.

A short album, ten tracks with a total running time of around 12 minutes. It is mostly about, or inspired by, the 1976 sadomasochistic film of the same name.
I have had a break from doing music for a couple of years, and I am back making songs. If anyone would like to collaborate on a song or two (via the internet) then let me know.
i heard you like reverb
how did you do the drums for this???

My bands debut EP
>Psychedelic rock, pop, surf, bit of everything
uhhh i would check it out but you dont have anything on your bandcamp
yeah i deleted it because i just visited this thread
and got disgusted with/mu/
but since you just showed interest ill put it back up, thanks for trying to check it out, it'll be back up in like 30 seconds
here
I don't normally like drone and ambient music, but this is good - feels more musical and spoken word and samples really work with the context of the songs. Production wise it is is good and there is a nice balance between light and dark.
This is quite slick sounding. To be honest, it isn't really my bag. Lucid Beach is my fave of what I listened to, has a bit more bite to it than the others and quite fun.
heard you before, and like it, it is well put together and clever
what the fuck user
im odd about my music.... i throw VHS with my tunes on them at strangers in portland/olympia/seattle
i send old friends cds/cassettes
i vowed to never put shit on the internet, but recently i decided too so that i could show random strangers. Then i posted it here. Then i got disgusted with the people (not you, the anons in that thread (although i love blond on blond) and so i deleted it so that i wouldnt be heard by those same people who disgusted me....
anyway its back, check it out .... if you want

"google facts" is fun doo whop rock pop
"roland arbiter" is suicde esque weirdness, a ballad ode to an epic hacker who is now dead
"pax romana" and "triskellion" are protest songs about the state of FUBAR that we enhabit
the rest are self expanatory

is that an expression of disapproval regarding my music???? or is it more of a comment on my remarks??? im a little confused

why do so many people make drone in these threads?
this is the kinda thing i'd like to drive to at night dude, proper nice vibes i dig it, vocal samples r fucking rad in there too n i rlly like how it builds, guitar could've done with some more reverbs or been slightly lower in the mix in the drop for me though
the vocals really let this down for me but the rest is pretty cool
king kruley tag brought me in, dig it, super emotive, dont be scared to sing a lil higher in places tho i reckon that could proper let emotion come through rather than kinda drag?? dig it tho plz dont h8 me
drums r too metally for the rest of the tracks i feel, n try work on your mixing but proper banging hooks damn nice one
yamir u beautiful spicy boy i love u

drone is super edgy and cool and fashionable and totally not the easiest thing to write in the world okay

You need some help.
easiest genre to make/fake being good at, and whenever someone says they don't like it you can pull the "you just can't into it" card and make yourself feel better about your shitty music.
not dissing every drone artist here, there are a few genuinely good ones that put legitimate effort into adding textures and making it sound as beautiful as possible, but theres also a lot of lazy fucks that just paulstretch something, add reverb and delay to it and call it a track
t. someone who used to do that
>yamir u beautiful spicy boy i love u
legit made me smile, love you too
what the heck
>Production wise it is is good and there is a nice balance between light and dark
literally 70% of my time goes into that so im glad its paying off, thanks!
Also, that bandcamp page is blank or you posted the wrong url.
this spicy boy said it right. I think a lot of drone artists come here because the concentration of people who listen to drone are higher here than most other places on the internet. It is indeed super easy to use paulstretch, some effects, and call it a day, but to make something that is essentially standing still to hold someone's attention and sound great or even just listenable is a pretty steep challenge.

The drums for the first song I just recorded with one mic and put it through a compression filter. The drum machines (if that's what you're referencing) were just simple 808 plug ins on FL studio with some reverb.

window was great, had a weird vibe but was enjoyable, reminds me of Earl Sweatshirts "grief"
and To U (Takes 2) was the best, very cool, like the low fi acoustic guitar/vocals in this. Good stuff.

Description:
Tragedy and viscera, established vicariously through slow, warm, looping and warping drones, glitches, bursts of noise, stinging synths and overwhelmingly profound levels of volume. In the ever expanding thirty eight minutes that creates this single track, Jorge embodies the strong foundations of these beliefs in what is Fauxiliary.
Now available for stream and download!

I'm currently going through this
so far I feel the wah pedal is overall a little too present in the first 3 tracks, feels weird.
Will keep updated with final verdict in a bit
FUCKING CHRIST
lampshade is incredible
alright
as a sum total
I liked it
the first 4 tracks were very weak compared the the latter portion of the labum
though I think "We're druids" is a good track
but once you hit the 5th track, it's a whole different story.
The only flaw I found was where you arranged the heavy as fuck "Lampshade" to be followed immediately by the ever so calm "Dick Rotation Story" which I dind't care for but I guess it's fine.
hey thanks, yeah that album was made years ago. we were pretty inexperienced, but we're slowly working on another, more refined album.
