Costco to open stores in Sweden next year

How does Sweden feel about being culturally enriched by an American big box store chain?

Canada, Mexico, UK, Japan, S Korea, Taiwan, Australia, and Spain have already tasted the Costco and can never go back.

Can you buy BBCs at Costco?

Paying money to save money.

America.

Wtf is a costco

It's a membership-based discount grocery store chain specialising in bulk retail purchases

Basically a Walmart, but with less choice and larger quantities. Think of buying a case of things at a time.

You pay an annual membership fee for the privilege of buying shit in bulk at a small savings.

Do Euros have room to store 144 rolls of toilet paper? How about 12 gallons of milk?

The food court is mediocre but atleast try out the chicken bake swedefriends.

basically American Makro

Costcos outside US/Canada have smaller packaging.

This basically. Costco also has the distinction of not treating its employees like absolute shit like Walmart does.

This
Yanks pretend they invented most business ideas when in reality there's nothing new under the sun

No, in britain most wouldnt have room anyway. We'd be lucky to have a patch of grass out the front of our house

We have something similar which is already well established, maybe that's why we don't have many american stores

We had something called SMART Club.
Its almost the same concept, except that Costco is membership only.

Its not that culturally enriching. The only thing that makes Costco special is that it tries to cater to both private consumers and enterprises.
I am not sure if their main enterprise gain is by not stocking wares with too shit quality, or extreme bulk shopping.

swedes generally don't buy in bulk. still, will be interesting to see if they can compete with the almighty ICA.

Costco won over other membership warehouse type chains because of their Kirkland Signature in-house brand.

They're almost always above average to very good quality at low to average-low prices.

Never heard anything about it but it's too retarded for you to have made it up

What city?

>mfw live 10 minutes drive from a costco

can you guess where I live?

Brisbane outskirts or some shit?

Doesn't sound too bad.
Less choice against higher quality? Its basically always better

I want a publix.

Commie bullshit

Why even ask? It's always Malmö because everyone's GtingTFO

nah

>he can't enjoy a sandwich because it's made by unionized employees who own a share of the company they work for

I can't find anything about it so I doubt it's true

I've never seen one of this in Catalonia.

There's only two in Spain: Madrid and Seville.

It's nothing. They just opened another one just down the road from me. Everyone excited... and now 1 month later it's meh.

$60 every year to maybe, just maybe save that much by buying in bulk?

Nah.

*0.05$ was deposited into your Walmart account

Nah. I do everything at Meijer and Kroger, because I'm not a poorfag and I don't hang around with shartpants.
