>Ontario, Canada, Ambient, Drone, Harsh Noise, Harshnoise, Noise, Vapornoise, Vaporwave.
Description:
Tragedy and viscera, established vicariously through slow, warm, looping and warping drones, glitches, bursts of noise, stinging synths and overwhelmingly profound levels of volume. In the ever expanding thirty eight minutes that creates this single track, Jorge embodies the strong foundations of these beliefs in what is Fauxiliary.
Now available for stream and download!
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Jorge some love. Thank You. :)
Will still be accepting submissions for the label.

Fuck these tracks are long. I like what I'm hearing though, reminds me of the Alva Noto Ryuchi Sakamoto collabs. Is that a real piano?
"Arid plays a musical style that takes a very raw form of black metal and mixes it in with crust and d beat to create a sound of their own, the production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Anti State, Anti Fascist and Anti Human themes." -OccultBlackMetalZine
no. track one is made up largely of edited piano loops

I really like this. Tracks 2 and 3 especially. Also great cover art.
I really like music that has this kind of watery guitar sound. Reminds me a bit of Hawaiian Gremlins.

Sup guys, I just released another album
avantier.bandcamp.com
This is a conceptual synthwave/vaporwave album based on videogame consoles (and a couple of games) from the old Segas, the N64 and the Gameboy all the way up to the Wii and the Xbox 360.
I made this as a tribute to my childhood, and for all the nostalgic folks out there to enjoy. I hope you like it.
The album is free to download, but you can support me by buying it if you want to, it would mean a lot to me (I need gear asap)

Big ol rock concept album, tried to make it energetic and catchy and intense. One man project made in bedroom, spent some time trying to mix it guud, so hopefully that comes across, although I'm just an amateur singer. A lot of nerdy influences like prog rock and videogame music.
Man, the production on that is crazy effective, very oppressive, nice vocal stuff too with the panning. Love the energy. Fun story too, I love cheese.
Great album art here, nice to see guitar stuff too. On that first big rock track, try lowering the high freqs on the lead guitars if you can? Second track is nice with the acoustic guitar, nice recording, with the lead later too. Even has a piano outro! Thoughts and Sadly and others seems to have more layers which is neat. Dysphoria has some nice energy, might be my favorite next to Sadly (good chords and melody for that).
I think some tracks could improve a lot by offering up some variations for the different verses, like different instruments for each one, adding layers, adding a drum track, etc. Although I understand you want it to be more morose given the subject matter and the nature of those drifting sad vocal lines.
It's a nice relaxed laid back but sort of melancholic feeling, like on a porch on a summers day with overcast. DESU you might feel better singing higher, you seem struggling with lows. Same for the above artist too!
Rare to see rock here, cool. As for vocals, desu I like the belted energy, go do more of that! I think I like Black the best, nice big layered dark sound, and Burning Bridges which has that iron maiden type intensity that I like. Try to invest in production though! Also raise those guitars to 11
all hail kek
Those ARE some bitching guitars, very confident smooth playing, and nice production sound. The vocals aren't my thing but very well done. I like the major key stuff a lot like Drought, great guitar solo.

Thanks man, I will take note. I really dig your sound too, gives me some Rush vibes.
...
...
Wow thanks so much for listening! I know they're a bit of an earful with their size lol
Rush is totally a big inspiration, I guess it's the hard rock sort of prog vibe with some highish vocals.
I also just wanted to write there (but ran out of space) that I spent a lot of time working on all the repeated motifs and themes and stuff throughout the album, so it's like a big puzzle.
Yeah man I totally dig it. The first track totally gave me just pulled me in and the production all around it really great. I'll give it a full listen through tonight.

Congrats again finishing the EP dude. So good to see you going out there and start getting shows going
Thanks bb! My drummer quit tho :(
What's the next course of action, nueve?
50% of it is from russian pirate sites, and the other 50% is from my mom

Good God, thank you
Dude, you got almost 300 plays in about half a month. Congrats
What does everyone use to record/produce etc? Just audacity or other things?
Ye, audacity and my phone
What about you? Thinking about just starting to record or change your method?
Oh so it's good? I've never done this before so hey that's wonderful! I was worried. It's actually just been a week, but it'll definitely drop off a lot soon. I'm making youtube videos too so maybe that'll help a bit when I get em done. I also made a twitter but I'm like WTF do I even do
Do you guys like, send them to certain blogs or reviewers and stuff like that for your genre? Might be an idea. I only know of Sup Forums...
Nah just asking! For discussion! get some /prod/ in here maybe
I used a lot of guitar line-in stuff and midi controllers etc for clean sound. Vocals are a shitty cheap mic, but lots of noise-cancelling etc to make up for the cheapness, very annoying but I'm too cheap lol
Haha when I uploaded my first 2 tracks ivee 3 months ago, my mom donated $20 to download them.
The reds hurt but it serves as a sign to make not shit music.
This also worries me because I'm afraid of when my mom checks out my new tracks and hears some stuff I don't want her to.

on a good day, i get around 10-25 listens, about 5 of those full listens. if i dropped new material the stats go up to around 30-50 for a few days. on normal days like these its hard to even get over 10

these are really good stats
aUdacity is legit good once you start finding all of its tricks and you master it pretty well. you could have the most professional/expensive daw but if you dont know how to use it to its fullest whats the point?
