Why?
1. Vespertine
2. Post
3. Medulla
4. Homogenic
5. Debut
6. Vulnicura

4. Volta
5. The idea of being kicked in the face until I permanently taste the gum stuck to the underside of my assailant's shoe
6. Biophilia
Her vocal performance on it is legit otherworldly
this
I agree, especially with her. Each album feels like another universe, shes mad diverse with every release, hard to truly rank for me but I'll say I think Homogenic is my favorite and Vespertine is objectively her best, every other album is a close second, especially Vulnicura...fucking masterpiece

Well sure but it's also fun.
Medulla > Vespertine > Homogenic > Vulnicura > Post > Biophilia > Debut > > > Volta
Some of her strongest vocal work, but I wouldn't call it her best release. For me, at least, it's just the most representative of her overall sound.
wow look at her
>debut that low
You are wrong
>Biophilia that low
You are a silly billy
You are on the right track, check out Vulnicura last guy
Vulnicura > Medulla > Vespertine > Biophilia > Homogenic > Post > Debut > Volta
Volta's got some great songs, but also some god awful ones like Hope and Pneumonia. Her first 3 albums bore me
I agree w/ you re: Biophilia being completely underrated, but what makes you prefer it over Homogenic? (serious question)
1. Vespertine
2. Homogenic
3. Biophilia
4. Post
5. Vulnicera
6. Medulla
7. Volta
8. Volta
This is objective

>Medulla that low
Imagine being this wrong.
>Her first 3 albums bore me
Why all the hate/lack of love for Biophilia? I don't really get it. Like, actual question. I'm not questioning anyone's taste, but it's by far my favourite Björk album and I don't get why it does nothing for a lot of her fans. Pls explain why Biophilia is ranked this low consistently.
STATE OF EMAAAAAGENSIIII.
>Volta, Volta
Even that you can't get right, faggot
Biophilia definitely holds a place in my heart. It made me get 100% into her, I think it's absolutely fascinating
I'm hard.
I think the themes alone would make an excellent album, genuinely innovative stuff. Then add the way she uses sparse instrumention, each song focusing on one type of sound in particular and the way she experiments with electronic beats (hnnng the dubsteppy parts of Crystalline and Sacrifice) and you got a great album.
