Just threw this up yesterday, a collection of songs
alt. rock/piano pop & other lofi treats
dave-roland.bandcamp.com
>ambient synthpop, late night driving music, vintage synths
I'm expanding some songs from this on my next album since they're pretty short and unrefined here.
Do you ever think you should ditch bandcamp as it's impossible to stand out amongst the millions of slurry?
You can compile your songs there. BC threads make less sense than soundcloud thread, people just browsing don't want to listen to a whole album of amateur hour, but if someone likes a genre and homegrown music its a reasonable place to browse and listen.
>sonable place to browse and liste
I tried it, as a listener, but I've not the energy to plough through it, you'd to pay me as an A&R man (do they still exists?)
as a musician that wants to get spotted, I see people playing and touting their soundcloud, twitter , bandclamp the lot,
I can't see much impact ever being made,
you'd be better playing nude in Piccadilly and punching as policeman
it's what it takes sometimes
I think Bandcamp is more coherent and album orientated than Soundcloud. With soundcloud, it's where you'd fine demos, singles or remixes and shit while BC is more for full albums and finished products.
visionescape.bandcamp.com
>post rock, sludge, electronic and folk elements
I'll return all feedback. I'm also going to listen to everyone in the thread like I usually do.
It's not about getting discovered, it's about being heard.
>noise, sound collage, drone, ambient
This. Being discovered never crossed my mind honestly, I only post my music in bandcamp threads and nowhere else anywhere. Sup Forums inspired me to make music so it's where I'll exclusively share it.
>It's not about getting discovered, it's about being heard.
if I don't discover you... how do I hear you????
>you'd be better playing nude in Piccadilly and punching as policeman
See the 6 o clock news..

Then music isn't for you probably. Apply for a well-paid job.
some of the advances individuals get are like £200,000
>some of the advances individuals
>implying you can be one of them
and then when I'm meme I might play ticketed club gigs once a week in town,
when the music free for all finishes some people will make a killing
and if it don't work out, I don't mind playing for nothing to the birds

have you seen the money that gets chucked out?
£200,000 this bloke got, that'd pay my rent in Teddington for 10 years,
:/
Sucks to be you then. Money is nice but if it overshadows everything else then it makes you worse than Hitler
or even a brand new Astra...
...
not really because if it is possible for me,
the band members get paid, the venue gets lager sales, playing some notes could let a bunch of cats breath again.. if you dig me
High self-esteem I see. Good for you, really. Although reality is much, much different from reality.

>Jorge
>Fauxiliary
>Ontario, Canada, Ambient, Drone, Harsh Noise, Harshnoise, Noise, Vapornoise, Vaporwave.
Description:
Tragedy and viscera, established vicariously through slow, warm, looping and warping drones, glitches, bursts of noise, stinging synths and overwhelmingly profound levels of volume. In the ever expanding thirty eight minutes that creates this single track, Jorge embodies the strong foundations of these beliefs in what is Fauxiliary.
Now available for stream and download!
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And give Jorge some love. Thank You. :)
Will still be accepting submissions for the label.
Also, to anyone in the Houston area, Even Oxen, The Baddest Beams, and I will be playing August 15th at the White Swan. Hope to see some supporters there.

I have a very shitty picture of my pedals, I did all my recording in a garage until a few months ago, so that's the mess. The pedals are:
Fender Stratocaster - Fulltone OCD - Boss DS-2 - Joyo Voodoo Octave Fuzz - Behringer Super Fuzz - Way Huge Swollen Pickle - EHX Small Clone - TC Electronics Shaker Mini - Ibanez DD-7 - Monoprice Flanger - Crybaby Wah - TC Electronics Flashback Mini - Ditto Looper
I either use a Fender Twin Reverb or a Fender Champion 600.
pretty cool shit lovely synths although i wasn't a fan of some of the ways you progressed tracks it was like "hey o heres another one coming in woohoo arpegiate baby" but i guess i like music with these sounds to have more structure since they just sound nice but not always ear catching
cool though (im assuming here you made validations in discord too because i like those tunes quite a bit) (p.s. cool title for such music, since i mentioned it)
Just finished listening to election year, great work man
Tart, The Buzzing and Hammock were tracks that really stuck out to me. The fuzzy guitar tones on Hammock were really enjoyable!

that's the thing he recorded

I'm digging a lot of the Psychadelic rock in this thread, keep it up guys.

Little Kid just announced a new album, the single is dope.

For those unfamiliar with his work, check out his album Logic Sounds. Incredible Lo-fi album. His style is very similar to Mount Eerie/ Microphones, except less jarring and more pretty.
I'm sorry, it's actually pretty good. I've just been going through some stuff.
Thanks for the rec dude! ( here)
I really love the chill vibe of your stuff, and you have a great voice. Good for early morning or late night listening. I'm also a sucker for long song titles.
hey guys you should check out my album . if you love sonic games and weird music check it out !! let me know how to get better

Honestly, you could up your general productuion quality. Look up "your mix sucks" for a general idea on how most pop music is mixed.
Songwriting wise, anyone's input would diminish the intense 'youness' of the music.
