Movies in the nineties with extreme metal soundtrack or subject?
Gummo (1997) is the only one I could find.
The older film wins.

Have you seen Wayne's World?
Yes, I have.
It's mostly heavy metal.
so what do i win?
These dubs
Impressive
Nothing. Your film doesn't meet the required aspects to figure in the "competition".
Gummo is still the oldear movie related to extreme metal that exists.
I know.
are drunk? what does your first sentence mean?
and Wayne's World is older than Gummo by 6 years
Yes. It means that there is no extreme metal subject or soundtrack.
I know.
cannibal corpse was in ace ventura
the whole movie is about heavy metal slackers trying to make it in the biz, alice cooper even cameo's
heavy metal =/= extreme metal
It's true, but I will not consider the film with a "extreme metal soundtrack", since it's just one song.
why do females pretend to like this film?
explain the difference
Mortal Kombat has some Fear Factory on the Soundtrack, and Heavy Metal could almost be considered. And while Heavy Metal 2000 is god awful, it had a fairly based soundtrack that included Pantera. That's about all I know of
extreme metal was extremely niche before metalcore and myspace
Funny Games

i'm not listening to that as i'm talking about content, or "subject" as you listed it.
what would shift the content of one movie from "heavy metal" to "extreme metal".
Lilja 4-Ever
Are you mentally handicapped?
Extreme, I'm not sure, but The Crow, Lost Highway, bits of Natural Born Killers
Can you explain yourself?
The type of fucking music would shift it, you retard.
how exactly would non "extreme-metal" content shift into "extreme metal" content in the absence of music?
Where exactly are you on the autism scale? Either listen to the music for reference or stop posting.
why tf that kid got swoller arms than me
if you can't give me an example that disproves Wayne's World as an extreme metal film, I win the thread and there's nothing you can do about it.
Escape from LA
Spawn
Lost Highway
Not the OP but "extreme metal" is generally a catch-all term for the more abrasive metal genres like for example death metal or black metal
Heavy metal is a specific genre of metal music, but doesn't fall under the umbrella term extreme metal
I think you've got that the wrong way around, friendo
I think you're taking that text out of context
Any extreme metal genre is derivitave of heavy metal
It's the first metal genre, thus they are all subgenres of heavy metal
It even says
>subgenres that have developed since the early 1980s
meaning thrash metal and such, heavy metal however has been around for much longer
If you actually read that article they probably don't list "heavy metal" as an extreme metal genre
Extreme metal is a form of heavy metal
Extreme Metal comes in different flavors, like spicy buffalo ranch and kickin' chipoltle sriracha.
The Crow???
So?
That doesn't contradict anything I said.
>Any extreme metal genre is derivative of heavy metal
>they are all subgenres of heavy metal
But OP made it clear he's focusing on specifically extreme metal
Holy fucking kek!!
ok then
>The "extreme" label is most commonly applied to bands whose music is extreme; for example, few would consider Kiss or Alice Cooper to be extreme metal, though they could be considered to employ "extreme" elements in their appearance and stage demeanor for their time
Alice Cooper is considered extreme metal by some, Alice Cooper is in Wayne's World.
Ipso Facto I still have the earliest reference and win the thread
Yeah it's a vague term but the OP clarified what he meant so i'm not sure how you "won" the thread
Well than, I could just say Heavy Metal has Sabbath and that pre dates WW by 10 years and I trump you and your claims to the thread.
he listed 2 examples, 1 of each, hardly a definitive scope.
not in the 90's bruh.
